EDIT TO ASK SERVPRO: I had called. Someone by the name of Christine refused to answer very basic questions before shouting “I DONT HAVE TO ANSWER TO YOU”. DO YOU PERMIT WORKERS TO USE RESIDENTS PERSONAL ITEMS FOR THE JOB? THERE ARE ITEMS VERIFIED STOLEN. THE MGMT COMPANY HIRED YOU TO REMOVE BIOHAZARD. I GOT WORKERS ORDERED TO THROW EVERYTHING AWAY AND PERSONALLY INTERESTED IN THE OPPORTUNITY TO TAKE MY STUFF. ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE. LITERALLY VULTURES AND THIEVES. Absolutely mortifying. Hired by the property management, Rose Associates, for my apartment, in came a crew of non-english speaking adults claiming to be able to comprehend but clearly unable to. Their documentation, credentials, and any other ability beyond eradication and clearance are suspect. Update: there was a second attempt with a new crew. I counted 7 people for a 2 person job. One could speak english and all of his aggression could not be contained after they mysteriously left midwork for 2 hours and I called their supervisor to inquire about it. I had to cancel a video appointment because of this. They threw away personal items without asking and I suspect stole what they could. They even had the nerve to use my property as part of their cleaning without asking. Do not hire this company if you cannot tolerate having to belabor their workers. A nightmare! Exercise caution when dealing with salesmen who may engage in deceptive practices. The salesman in question assured me that they would not perform any work on my property. They claimed that I was not required to pay anything and that if I decided to file an insurance claim, the insurance company would cover the cost of Servpro after a period of five or six months. However, we subsequently received debt collectors demanding payment of $4,500.

Hired Servpro to deal with some smoke damage in my apartment. Their team, led by Eric, was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and communicative. They did a full survey, gave us a quote, and then promptly did the cleaning/repairs. They even went above and beyond and cleaned other small things that we had forgotten to request. Highly recommend calling them if you are dealing with damage from a fire.

I had some pretty bad water damage in my apartment that was severely impacting my life. I called up Servpro to help me out, and with the help of Wesley I got my bedroom back in working order. He was very empathetic and understanding of my situation which really helped not only to ease the situation, but also just felt good to have a real person there to fix my problem. Thanks to these guys I don’t need to stay at my friends house another night lmaoo. No offense to her but Servpro saved me and tom is the best! I had a sink overflow and I left my apartment without realizing it was on. Talk about a disaster when I got back home. Another tenant told me about Servpro and they came right away to save the day. Hi there, writing this in FREEZING nyc, where my building has not only had frozen pipe issues, but I had a toilet overflow in my bathroom that the water almost froze from the temps when I wasn’t home. Crazy times were living in and I’m just glad this team came through for me. I’ve never ever ever had a toilet overflow so I was baffled. What’s there to say about Servpro and Tom that hasn’t already been said?? I seen some of the reviews and I’m here to tell you they’re the best there is. Sometimes these companies will try to price guage you and take advantage but I’ve noticed Tom does his best to give the best price he can. That’s a real good owner if I say so. Luckily I had a continuous issue that wouldn’t stop that I felt like Tom and the crew were around constantly. Eventually we targeted the main issue and I haven’t seen them since lollll. I can’t even begin to say how thankful I am 🫶🏼

They also taught me a ton to avoid issues that may arise from storms and flooding etc. I know Tom is still the big man over there, so you know you can count on them no matter what happens! Servpro of Upper East Side was a lifesaver for me. Three days before I was scheduled to move into my new apartment the air conditioner backed up and flooded the living room, drenching my new rugs, padding and redone wood floor. I called Servpro (I just found the listing online) and Tomer was there within 15 minutes to assess the damage. He immediately knew what to do. His team arrived within a half hour with machines to begin the drying process and to remove the drenched rugs and padding for cleaning, which he also does. It took 11 days for the wood floor to be fully dried, with his machinery, running 24/7. He was there almost every day to take moisture readings of the wood. Ultimately the floor was saved thanks to his expertise. He also worked with my insurance company to handle the paperwork so I never had to lay out any money. I would stongly recommend Servpro Upper East Side because of Tomer. He is easy to work with, reliable pleasant, and he knows his business. That’s all you need!

Wow! Matan and his crew were terrific! Matan was the perfect project manager--he and his crew worked at such an impressive pace--dealing with the flood and putting in the new floor. Servpro saved my apartment! I had a flood from my toilet, and in less than an hour they came and put up dehumidifiers to dry them, until no liquid was left. Matan, who was in charge from the beginning, was reliable and he was very meticulous with the work. After that, we stayed in contact until my floor got replaced, and when I needed to ask a question he responded immediately. When he and his crew replaced my floor they were careful with my furniture and placed each floor piece exactly where it needed to be. They even made sure the remaining touch ups were in order too. If anyone ever finds themselves in a similar situation, I would recommend Matan from Servpro in a heartbeat!
