VERY DISSAPOINTED- We have been loyal West Coast Plumbing and Air customers for several years. Ever since moving into our house. They have done numerous jobs for us with great results in the past. (key word is "past"- the quality of the company is gone) HOWEVER, the last job (and one of the more expensive jobs) was totally bungled. We were having HVAC issues; one section of the house was not cooling appropriately. They sent a technician out to diagnose the problem. He then quoted us a price ($2300) to fix the issues. After the work was complete, the HVAC issue actually WORSENED! So, I politely called to have the technician return to see what he could do. Upon return, he fumbled around and did a few little things and then left. The problem was still WORSE than before they came to work on it. Frustrated as I was, I got out my own ladder and was able to figure out the problem (and I am not even an HVAC guy.) I then proceeded to call John (the service manager) and explain that I needed a new tech to come out. I explained what the real issue was and was hopeful that they would be able to fix it. Sure enough, when the new tech came out, he was able to confirm my diagnosis. What I didn't expect was they were planning on charging another $1300 to fix the actual problem. After discussing the issue with John, he was unwilling to have his technician complete the CORRECT work without further charge. After his technician made the system WORSE, he wanted me to pay more to do the correct fix THAT I DIAGNOSED! I was totally shocked... In my opinion, this was quite unacceptable. I will be taking my business elsewhere. This city is full of HVAC companies that are likely more competent and fair than West Coast Plumbing and Air. Do yourself a favor, we all work too hard to be wasting money and time with this company trying to gouge its customers.

We've had a great experience with West Coast Plumbing & Air. Their team is always responsive, helpful, and takes the time to explain exactly what's going on and what our options are. I especially appreciate that they never make me feel rushed or overwhelmed. My husband travels frequently for work, so I'm often the one handling repairs at home. They consistently go above and beyond to make the process easy, answer my questions, and make sure I feel confident about the decisions being made. It's such a relief to have a company I can trust. Highly recommend!

I am beyond disappointed with the customer service my mother received today. She had a service appointment scheduled between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM. To be sure everything was on track, she called the number listed on the company’s website this morning to confirm the appointment. Instead of simply answering her question, the man who answered was incredibly rude and told her, “You’re not supposed to be calling us. You need to call your maintenance guys. Don’t call this number.” When she explained she only wanted to confirm the technician would be there between 4:00 and 6:00 PM to ensure she would be home to let him in, he said yes and abruptly hung up on her! My mother made sure she was home a hour before the scheduled arrival window. Because of the extreme heat, she had stepped out earlier in the day, only to discover the technician had shown up 2–3 hours before the scheduled appointment window without any phone call, text, or courtesy notice that they would be arriving early. Had someone simply called, she would have returned home immediately. When she called the same number back to find out what happened, no one answered so she called back and the same employee answered. Before she could even explain the situation, he interrupted her with, “Yeah, yeah, before you even say anything else, I already know who you are. You called this morning. Call your maintenance guy.” He repeatedly cut her off, refused to let her speak, and then hung up on her a second time! I’ve rarely seen such disrespectful and unprofessional customer service. Hanging up on customers twice, speaking to them with contempt, and refusing to listen is completely unacceptable. If this is how your company treats people who are simply trying to confirm an appointment, I would strongly recommend others think twice before doing business with you. This was, without question, one of the worst customer service experiences we’ve ever had.

A couple of years ago West Coast Plumbing replaced a toilet in our rental property. Last month, our tenant found water leaking through the ceiling below that bathroom. We had another plumber come out to investigate, and he found the issue was the toilet. The plumber found that West Coast Plumbing used the wrong wax ring when they installed it. It was too small and never compressed enough to seal the toilet to the flange. He documented it with photos, and the wax ring looked like it had never been compressed at all. So every time the toilet flushed, a small amount of toilet water was leaking where it should have been sealed. When I reached out to West Coast Plumbing, with invoices, photos, plumber findings, and remediation information. John's response was: “in my opinion it's been leaking far too long to be our responsibility. it wasn't reported it a timely manner” That is an unbelievable response. No kidding it had been leaking too long. Based on what the new plumber found, it had likely been leaking since day one because the toilet was never sealed correctly. There was no way for us or the tenant to know this was happening until it finally showed up through the ceiling below. The issue was hidden under the toilet. The toilet would had to have been removed right after install to know the wax ring was wrong and never sealed. It's not like a part that failed over time. It was an install issue from the start. Now we are dealing with toilet water damage, mitigation, tile removal, subfloor repairs, and putting the bathroom back together. The mitigation estimate alone is around $4,500, and that does not include the rebuild. Mistakes happen. I get that. I do not expect a company to be perfect. But installing a toilet, making sure the wax ring is the right size, compressed, and sealed is a pretty basic expectation. When mistakes happen, I hope companies can take responsibility. But to decline taking responsibility and suggest we should have found this leak before is unacceptable. West Coast Plumbing did not offer to even come inspect the issue in person, or offer a real solution. And they haven't replied to any emails or calls since their “it’s been too long” response. The bad install was frustrating. The complete lack of accountability afterward is why I would not use West Coast Plumbing again and would not recommend them.

We live in the Norterra area. We experienced a water leak in our ceiling on Sunday evening. We called West Coast Plumbing and Air and they had someone there within the hour (on a Sunday evening). Damion the tech was able to identify the problem and fix the leak before any damage was done to the drywall. Thank you West Coast Plumbing for your quick response time and your ability to identify and fix the problem quickly.

I've been using West Coast for years and keep calling them back because their techs are always courteous and friendly. The work always holds up and I always feel like they are taking their time to do the work correctly. They've done both plumbing and AC work for me now at 3 different homes and just today did a faucet and garbage disposal install for me. Finding the right balance of price, quality, and customer service can sometimes be a challenge but I'm happy to keep coming back to West Coast! Easy to get an appointment and always on time!

I cant say enough about Justin and the honesty and integrity of this company. I was lied to by ACTION pest control. Skylar from that company told me I had a roof rat infestation, showed me photos of someone else's attic, and quoted me 8k. I have no evidence of roof rats. Justin showed me my real photos. Always get a 2nd opinion or just go with erst coast pests

We recently had a huge leak underneath the slab of our house and my wife and I decided, since this was the second such leak, to repipe the entire house. Justin from West Coast Plumbing and Air came out and did the work, and he was absolutely fantastic. The estimate he gave us was reasonable, considering the estimates we received from other companies, the work was done in a very timely manner, and the work immediately passed our city's inspection. Beyond all that, Justin is, simply put, a really nice person who obviously is very good at his job and sincerely cares about his customers. We had a terrific experience working with him.

After having called several Local Plumbers in my Venue, Carefree/Far North Scottsdale/Cave Creek, and either receiving no callback, or not showing up as promised, I contacted ‘West Coast Plumbing,’ after noting many excellent Reviews, and in a word this was a flawless, Professional experience from setting the Appointment for an estimate, to the actual job(s) completed by Logan the Technician. This involved both an in the ground leak to, and at my Pool, and, Installation of a replacement Hybrid Water Heater that Rheem, Company supplied after the original failed whilst under Warranty. This meant picking up the New Unit from the Standard Distribution, who it is to be said was not cooperative, but THAT matter expertly handled by West Coast Management, to returning the failed Unit. The jobs, while not cheap, was worth every penny out of my pocket, and I very much believe I got what I paid for….no regrets here. I will use ‘West Coast’ soon to use their AC Division.

We had a very frustrating experience with West Coast Plumbing & Air. We are renters, and our homeowner hired them to fix our heater, which did not work the entire winter. A technician came out about two weeks ago and said there was an issue that would require additional work or a part, but since we are not the homeowners, very little was explained to us. Last week, the company contacted me to schedule another technician to come re-evaluate the issue. At that point, we were two days away from moving, with boxes throughout the house. The second technician claimed he was able to get the heater working and told the homeowner the issue was caused by boxes blocking an air vent. This explanation does not make sense given that the heater had not worked for months and a different issue was identified during the first visit. Additionally, when the technician arrived, he saw that I was carrying my nine-month-old baby, who was asleep in my arms. I went into the master bedroom to breastfeed him and keep him asleep. Instead of leaving, calling, or texting when he finished, the technician walked through my home yelling my name, which felt inappropriate and unprofessional. The lack of consistent diagnosis, poor communication, and ultimately placing blame on us after months without heat was extremely disappointing. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this company.

American Home Shield has been sending techs to my house for a year and a half trying to fix my AC . Gave them $4000 and the AC still wasn't fixed. I canceled American home shield because they would not hold their techs accountable and they would not take responsibility for getting my it fixed. West Coast Plumbing came out and had my AC fixed in four hours and charged a reasonable price. Tech was very professional. Got the job done!
