I had serious water damage due to a pot filler faucet let on for more than a week. My entire first floor African Mahogany floor buckled. The water saturated the floor system and flooded the basement. Mike explained everything. He was very reassuring. Dylan, the crew foreman, did a fabulous job with mitigation. All the flooring needed to come up. They removed the kitchen cabinets, granite, etc. They gutted the basement. I had numerous contractors that came in after them. They all said they never saw a mitigation company leave everything so perfect, ready for restoration. I highly recommend these guys.

On 4/22, around 11:20 am while driving on Albany St in Schenectady I was stopped at the 4 way stop at the intersection with S. Fagan St. As I was about to start moving forward, a Tech East truck came barreling through the intersection, ignoring their stop sign.

We had water damage in our upstairs bathroom from our tub so it had to be completely redone. It took nearly a month after another company gutted the bathroom for them to finally fit us for the renovation in last second, with a weekend’s notice. There was poor communication throughout the whole process, from project managers to contractors. Whenever I reached out for a follow up for scheduling or for any other questions I was anyways either blown off or met with some kind of attitude. They completely disregarded my preference in floor board direction, and didn’t even bother to level the floor with the hallway before laying it down. They took way too long to address other concerns with the work - their contractor at first thought it was a good idea to put up a mirror framing with duct tape which was comical at best, and it took them two other attempts to reinstall to actually have it look somewhat decent. They way overshot the time estimate (was originally quoted 3 days to a week, this turned into a nearly two month ordeal) and don’t seem to care much about anything other than making their money. We used them for restoration on our floors after a water leak. The work they did was serviceable but bare bones. They also said they would refund us the remainder of the money that our insurance company provided for the repairs once they finished, but they ended up just not coming back and pocketing the rest of the money. They even left a lockbox on our door with our house key in it. We've contacted them several times to come get their lockbox and give us back our key, but they won't respond, and we still have their branded lockbox on our door as a constant reminder of how bad of a company they are. I had a water heater explode in a finished basement. All of the carpeting and laminate flooring had to be removed. Total mess. They were at my house working within 2 hrs of my call. The Managers and thier Team are very professional and efficient. They check on my basement every day and make sure the the equipment they use to dry my basement is doing it's job. This group was incredible! They were delayed a day because of the weather and actually finished a day early! It was a grand undertaking of a roof restoration and they were really wonderful. From set-up to clean up, my family and I were impressed beyond words. My niece also loved peeking out the window to watch their progress.
