We recently used Servpro to clean, vacuum, and disinfect our basement following a sewage flood, and the entire experience was top-tier from start to finish. During the estimate phase, Tim was great to work with. He was extremely flexible with scheduling, always eager to answer our questions, and made sure we got an accurate quote tailored to what we needed. On the day of the job, Tim arrived on-site with his crew members to review the scope of work with us. The crew did an outstanding job. They were exceptionally professional, incredibly thorough, and went above and beyond to ensure every area could be properly cleaned and disinfected. They were also very mindful of our home, taking the time to cover their work areas so the rest of the house stayed completely clean throughout the process. On Saturday, a hot water pipe burst in my brother-in-law‘s apartment. Glen Oaks called Servpro, and they were there within hours. Edwin and Brian were very efficient and professional. They answered a lot of questions. My husband and I have been in contact with Tim, and are very pleased with the handling of this situation, so far. We highly recommend Servpro! ADDENDUM The following Monday, the remediation crew was back, and consisted of Mel, Gabriel, and Keiry. Tim was on site, and supervised their excellent work. By the end of the day, all of the wet and damaged furniture, and other items, were removed. Dehumidifiers were set up, and Tim checked for moisture for several days. We recently had our hot water heater fail, resulting in a 2-inch flood in our basement on a Saturday night at 6 pm. After contacting our insurance carrier, we were referred to ServePro of Garden City/Hempstead. Kelly and Tim promptly sent a team of two people to our home by 9:30 pm. They quickly assessed the situation, ensured all water was turned off to prevent further leakage and efficiently mopped up the water using highly effective shop vacs. They removed all wet carpet and padding, relocated furniture and personal belongs that were not wet and took out all wet items. They left six commercial grade fans and two dehumidifiers for three days to ensure everything was thoroughly dry. ServePro had a team of four people returned the next morning, which was Sunday to begin extracting all wet sheetrock and disinfecting the floor and wood studs. They ensued no wet items were left in our basement. Additionally, they were very efficient in taking pictures to document for the insurance company, which I also reviewed with them. ServePro of Garden City/Hempstead is the best fire and water remediation company around! Their team is extremely knowledgeable and professional, always taking the time to explain things thoroughly and answer any questions we had. The technicians were prompt, skilled, and friendly. Their pricing was very fair and transparent. We have no hesitation recommending ServePro of Garden City/Hempstead to anyone in need of fire and water remediation and restoration services. Their professionalism and expertise are truly unmatched!

Recently dealt with a flooding issue due to negligent upstairs tenants. Servpro was my first call and they were there the same day to start the restoration process. They were thorough in their inspection and work to make sure no water was trapped in any crevice, behind any wall, etc. They also helped pack up all of my belongings and move it to a storage facility while construction on the apartment was underway.
