I give Anderson Contracting the highest rating because of their professionalism, honesty, and expertise. A leak in the basement caused severe water damage. Francis was knowledgeable, experienced, and a valued expert at dealing with insurance, asbestos remediation, permits, the rebuild, and inspections. Throughout all phases of the project, he communicated on a timely basis and was always available for a question. I am very pleased and satisfied with the results. People like Francis and companies like Anderson are hard to find. I am glad that I chose them.

Excellent company to deal with. Phone calls were always returned promptly and all of the subcontractors treated my home with the utmost respect and care. The end result was a fabulous kitchen and flooring replacement due to a flood. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

It was a wonderful experience working with Francis. He was responsive, professional, and arrived on-time. Knowing that we had a toddler, Francis tried to avoid any noise-related work during our baby’s nap time. He explained everything in detail, and was clear and concise about the work he was about to perform. We would definitely hire Anderson Contracting again if future works are needed. We had a flood in our basement and someone referred us to Anderson Contracting Co. of Long Island, Inc. Francis, our project manager was very efficient in handling our insurance claim and persistent in follow-up and routinely provided status updates to us. He made a stressful situation less stressful. When we were ready to remodel, he was very patient with all my many questions and ideas and took the time to explain things thoroughly and make good suggestions. The remodeling team was top notch, Francis checked in often to make sure the work was coming along to my satisfaction. My basement/husband man-cave is perfect! I would definitely recommend and use this company again! Services Water damage-related cleanup & repair, Flooring, Water damage-related mold removal, Painting, Remodeling

I had a gray water line that rotted out and flooded the basement. Since it had some sewage in it the whole basement needed to be disinfected. Anderson Contracting came in and removed the wet carpet some floor molding and floor tiles then disinfected the basement so we wouldn’t have mold. They were very professional and did all the work, including removal of damaged items, moving and storage of personal items until the work was complete and returning the items back to the basement all in a reasonable time frame. Also, their staff are really nice people. It was a pleasure having them do the work and the result was a beautiful basement again. Thanks again to Bob Anderson and staff!! My wife discovered significant water damage in our foyer. The ceiling, both inside the house and outside the front door, was soaked and in a few places water was still dripping. Inside the house, the floor and several walls were soaked. Although it was Sunday we called Anderson contracting. Bob Anderson‘s company had done a kitchen for us, we love it and it still gets compliments. Bob and a member of his team arrived shortly after our call. They did a preliminary assessment of the damage, found the leak, ensured it was stopped, and ensured that the ceiling light was made safe. They left and returned shortly with equipment to speed the drying process. They returned the next day to further assess the situation, and to begin the process of controlling mold and sanitizing the area, since the leak was from a bathroom. Over the next few days his team addressed the leak and determine the extent of the damage. Bob fully explained what needed to be done. He is a stickler for details. Do things the “right” way, no violation of codes or shortcuts that compromise standards or safety. Bob met with the insurance company and within a few weeks a check arrived. Repairs Began shortly after that. One stop shopping. We could ask for nothing more. Positive Responsiveness, Punctuality, Quality, Professionalism, Value

Anderson Contracting Co. of LI, Inc. has been our “go to” contractor for almost 20 years. Our house in Southampton NY was in very poor condition with mold/roof rot, etc. Anderson Contracting stripped the structure down to the studs and identified and repaired significant structural flaws. They redesigned the floor plan creating an open and contemporary design while also finding space to install central air. The house was truly transformed. Anderson Contracting also renovated our large kitchen in our primary residence in Garden City. They were meticulous, on time, and they expertly contained the worksite so the rest of our home was not impacted by the construction. Anderson Contracting created a beautiful, functional kitchen that we love. We give Anderson Contracting “Five Stars” for their expert finished products!! Alan & Mary Dustman

After a devastating water leak on the 2nd floor had damaged over 50% of our house I contacted Anderson Contraction to remove the water and debris that wrecked our home. From the initial phone call with Bob Anderson to the courteous and knowledgeable workers that came by to remove the debris and dry everything out I was extremely pleased with the service and professionalism of the entire organization. We also asked Anderson to perform the repairs that would restore our home. Again the communication with Bob who negotiated with the insurance company and the level of work by the project manager and the qualified staff was just great. I was very pleased dealing with them

We chose Anderson Contracting Company of Long Island to fix some major structural damage in our home and for a complete kitchen renovation. We had such a pleasant experience working with everyone on the team and could not be more thrilled with how our dream kitchen turned out. Our project manager, Francis was incredible. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable while accommodating our needs. He used layman's terms when describing all of our options along with the pros and cons associated with each. I was very impressed with his attention to details and how he always was one step ahead whenever we had a question or concern. We appreciated how much the team did to keep our home as safe and tidy as possible knowing we had a toddler running around. In addition to adding a large structural beam and support column to repair structural deficiencies within our home, we took down a wall to create an open concept living space, removed a window and relocated the sink. We couldn't be more pleased with the result and will definitely use Anderson Contracting for any of our future contracting needs.

After Sandy, our family was devastated. We had already suffered from Irene and knew exactly who to call: Bob Anderson. I knew I could count on Bob, Mike, Francis and their crew to make us whole again. I have recommended Anderson Contracting to my friends with much success. I found them to be professional, fair and kind.

In 2016 our building was flooded as a result of a pipe that froze and burst. Anderson Contracting brought in a professional crew immediately to drain the premises, remove all the moisture damage, and then rebuilt our office better than before. As impressive as this all was, what truly blew me away was how their team helped us through our insurance claim. Sadly, our insurance company did not want to pay out to repair all the damage and was offering us more pennies on the dollar for what our repair costs were. Bob and his team fought for us and made sure we received every penny to rebuild and be made whole. I would use them again in a heartbeat not just for the quality of their craftsmanship, but also for the care and dedication they showed to take care of the whole process and made it easy on us.

Anderson Contracting is a professional and trustworthy company. I had a leak in my ceiling and ended up having to remove the sheetrock. They stressed the importance of allowing the ceiling to dry before repairing. They were timely, and looked out for my best interest to not have further issues. I would definitely recommend Anderson Contracting to others!
