Left me with a hole in my roof and a hole in my ceiling for months. A branch fell on my roof at the end of March 2026. They removed the water damage from my bedroom ceiling, dried it out quickly within a few weeks, and left a hole in the ceiling. They were supposed to fix the roof, which they never did either. They never came back to finish the job and just gave me the runaround. It is now a few days before September and I was told that the roof won't be fixed until October or November because it's still warm enough to do a roof. I had an incident about 2 years ago, with a defective hot water tank that had a massive leak..Unfortunately there was nobody living at the home at the time and the basement flooded badly. I normally check on it every couple of days but that's all it took to cause a major event. We called ServiceMaster and they immediately went to work, cleaning up the place. They took off sheetrock that was ruined by the water and they remediated any mold that had grown in a very short period of time. Because it was a hot water tank my mold will grow very quickly. I'm very happy with how they took care of my issue back then. Fast forward, 2 years later I had another issue with a sewer backup. I called Erica at ServiceMaster, who remembered me from the last issue and came to my rescue. Erica sent a team, Alfonso and Luca who did a fantastic job of removing the walls that needed to be removed and remediating any mold that was growing. They responded quickly and prevented a mold catastrophe from growing. Mold grows quickly and they managed to remediate the issue long before it became a problem. I'm very happy with ServiceMaster and will use them again in the future, hopefully I won't need them! But if I do, I'll call then without hesitation! I couldn't have been happier with all of the work that they performed for me. Top notch organization!

Not sure I had a flooding in my basement and ServiceMaster Restoration by Marano Services was called to do the water damage clean up, mitigation, and remediation. The crew was very efficient, pleasant, and knowledgeable of what each had to do to accomplish the tasks at hand. Lucas and the Team were very informative and receptive to suggestions. They ensured that after doing what they’re supposed to be doing, the premises were cleaned up prior to their departure. While this was going on, Erica who is the Office Manager was incredible in facilitating the whole process and was constantly following up and returning my calls. She was very responsive and did a terrific job from day one up to the setting up and removal of the POD storage when the work was done. Although Erica doesn’t know me from Adam, she responds to my needs as if it was her own. It would have been so much better if I have known Erica and her colleagues under different circumstances. The entire team was terrific. We were very pleased by the work completed by ServiceMaster after a huge tree fell on our house. ServiceMaster by Marano is simply the best! When my basement was flooded with two feet of loose mud and gravel due to my village's negligent replacement of curbs (I have a downhill driveway and rain carried it all into my basement), my house was threatened with destruction due to mold (it was very hot and humid). But following my desperate call to Marano, the very next two days crews of 10 appeared, cleaned out the debris and ruined carpet/furniture/appliances/clothing/memorabilia/etc., ripped out the bottom third of drywall to remove all mold and later restored my basement to "like new" condition. All for a very reasonable price. These folks are responsive, caring -- and really good!!!

My Project Manager was Francisco Mata and I have to say he was absolutely tremendous. Francis was professional, knowledgeable, customer focused and very personable. He explained the process and the timeline and then he made sure his team’s executed the plan as we agreed. You cannot ask for better than that. The company provided *Water Damage Remediation *Mold Remediation *Wood floor tear up and reinstallation *Carpet tear up and reinstallation Francis and his teams were terrific. I felt like he was doing this work for HIS own Mom. I highly recommend this company and want to reiterate what an asset Francis is to this company.
