Not sure I am extremely disappointed with my experience with ServiceMaster. I was referred to them through my insurance company after a house fire, and during an already stressful and overwhelming time, I expected better support and communication. The manager did come out initially to complete the assessment, but after that there was a major lack of follow-up. I rarely received updates unless I reached out myself, and I felt like I had to spend far too much time and energy chasing answers, coordinating, and trying to find out what was happening. That should not have been my responsibility during a situation like this. The crew members were polite, but the progress was very slow, with work often only being done a few hours at a time. The overall lack of communication, organization, and follow-through made an already difficult situation much more frustrating. I expected ServiceMaster to make this process easier, but instead I felt like I had to manage too much of it myself. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not recommend them. Reasonable price When we recently had quite a bit of water damage in kitchen, halfway and basement, Servicemaster brought us 2 really large dehumidifiers to dry everything out, double checked for moisture levels along floors, walls on all levels so my son knew what would need to be replaced or repaired throughout. Great price After a pipe burst in our laundry room, we needed immediate help, and this company responded quickly. They arrived within hours, removed the water, and set up drying equipment right away. What stood out was how organized the process was, especially during a stressful situation. Compared to trying to handle cleanup ourselves, this was far more efficient. They also checked for hidden moisture to prevent future issues. The whole process took several days, but they kept us updated throughout. Everything is now dry, clean, and back to normal.
