Reasonable price | $1,000–1,200 Lopez Plumbing is by far THE best plumbing company in NYC. I own a small business and have been through many plumbing companies in my 42 years in business. Thankfully I came across this company to take care of all my plumbing needs. They are courteous and responsive. Especially in an emergency! They know exactly what to do to fix any and all plumbing problems. I highly recommend. Reasonable price | $1,000–1,200 I had a positive experience with Lopez Plumbing. They communicate well, are courteous, and prompt. When the estimate following the diagnostic visit seemed high, I discovered that I could contact Kohler on my own and get the parts needed (even 14 years later, my bathtub faucet was still under warranty), and they adjusted the price down. Samuel did the work in my apartment and was cheerful--even when one of the parts that Kohler sent was incorrect (he managed to quickly find the correct one). All seems well, and I am hoping that the new diverter button for my shower stays in place--and that the drips from the faucet don't return. Juan (the owner) is very responsive and compassionate. And he explains things well. While I wasn't happy to need a plumber, I was happy to return to Lopez again for good and prompt service. Services Faucet repair

Very unprofessional experience. I called 3 times and waiting around for over two hrs just to be told the third time I called that there may not even be someone available to come and handle my service request. Why wouldn’t I be told that the first or even second time I called? Why would they even put in a service request if they couldn’t do it? Having me wait around for over two hours when no one is coming is beyond unprofessional and not to mention a great way to leave a terrible taste in someone’s mouth. Would not recommend.

Overpriced | $600–800 I feel taken advantage of. It took the plumber 10 minutes to diagnose and less than 15 minutes to change out the part. Be Aware!!!! I called and asked for a price to replace a kitchen faucet. They told me that it costs $1400. This job doesn’t cost more than $300.

Really sad that you feel that way, we don't know the scope of work involved, so, when we have to price a job over the phone with no submitted pictures/videos, we try our best to be accurate. Hi Brandon, Yes, we do charge a $250 diagnostic fee. The State of New York, New York City, and roughly 4,000 customers would probably agree that we know what we're doing. I also took a look at your review history and noticed that a significant number of your 41 reviews are negative. It's interesting how some people seem to find themselves surrounded by problems wherever they go. At a certain point, wisdom suggests asking whether every room is truly full of fools, or whether the common denominator is standing in the mirror. We wish you the best and hope you find a company that's a better fit for your expectations.
