Great price We moved into a new house where the garage had been destroyed when a tree fell on it after being struck by lightning. Clean Slate helped to rebuild the garage and honored the quote from the previous owner's insurance company even though there was some additional work required that would have cost more. Overall, we were content with the project. The garage was built very quickly and looks great. We were away for part of the time too and trusted the team who had to go in and out of the basement a few times to hook up the electrical systems. The one piece of feedback was that there was trash that was sometimes left behind in our backyard rather than being thrown out. We raised this to management and they were very apologetic. Worst company ever, I Would give them 0 stars if i could, wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. In 2020 We had solar installed on our roof, fast forward to 2025 there was a small leak where the solar was attached to the roof which left a small water mark in the center of the ceiling, the company that installed the solar also installed new roofing. We called them and was told the warrenty expired so we decided to go through insurance. Our insurance recommend clean slate. In march of 2025 a representative of clean slate came to do a walk through, the guy kept pushing to do the entire room when there was just a stain mark in the ceiling no bigger than 1 square feet. We said no just fix the roof and water mark in the ceiling. A week later they return to start the work. After a few hours of them being in the room I went to check only to see the entire wall and ceiling Sheetrock removed. We told them they were only supposed to cut a hole in the ceiling, not demo the entire room, the worker said that's what they were told to do, at that point there was nothing we could've done so we let them finish and clean up. The next day they a different set of guys came and put a tarp on the roof, that's was the last time we same anyone from the company. Two days after they place the tarp on the roof it rained, since the tarp was placed on the roof we figured it wouldn't leak, later in the evening my mom return home from work and went to check the room it was basically flooded and carpet was ruined and a water mark appeared on the 2nd floor bedroom ceiling. We called them immediately, explaining what had happened, it was weekend and we were told there isn't anyone available untill Monday so we should put a bucket underneath in case it rained again. It rained the following day. Monday no one came, we called again and was told that someone would come the following Wednesday, NO ONE CAME, we called again and again asking when will someone come to finish what they started, or at least fix the tarp so we don't have to keep emptying the bucket, evey date we got kept getting rescheduled. 5 months had pass and no one came, after 7 months and several calls bothe to our insurance and to clean slate no one had an answer. During those months we kept getting called from clean slates office demanding payment for the tarp which was 3k, because the insurance gave my mom the check to pay them once the work was completed, we declined all calls and refuse to pay untill the work was completed. In the summer we decided we wouldn't wait any longer so we removed the tarp and higher a new contractor. We called them to come and get the tarp and no one came, after a while we throw it in the trash but untill this day the bags of sand use to hold down the tarp sits in our backyard. Fast forward January 2026, we receive a latter from clean slate suing us for non payment for putting the tarp. The same tarp the didn't cover where the leak was, so we still had a leak. My mom went to court twice, first time they didn't show up, 2nd time the judge ruled in their favor without my mom even saying a word. Before the ruling the judge told my mom and the lawyer who's representing CS to go and talk, maybe come to some agreement, while they were talking this is what the lawyer said and I quote "you should just pay me now because you have already lost" my mom looked confuse and said let the judge say that to me and walk away. The judge did not even look at any of our documents, he just ruled in their favor. We are currently appealing this decision. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

We contracted Clean Slate Services to oversee the restoration of water damage done, to the in-law apartment in our home. Clean Slate in-turn, hired "ILAN PILOAR and his crew," to do the renovations and cleanup. They refinished the hardwood floors, replaced kitchen floor, removed and reinstalled appliances and garabage disposal. They also completed any electrical and plumbing damage that needed to be done. ILAN and crew were on-time every day, informed me on the scope of work to be done, and cleaned up at the end of each day. Sarah Schaefer and Kevin Busto, Clean Slate ordering and work support managers, are amazing. They provided 100% support to me and were with me step by step throughout the entire process, even providing on-site assistance. The general contractor on the team was also incredibly supportive. My bathroom and kitchen needed a complete overhaul as a result of a biohazard event. The final result is beautiful, exactly what I had hoped for thanks to the oversight of Kevin, Sarah, and Joseph (GC).

Reasonable price Cleanslate repaired 2 walls in my dining room that sustained water damage from this past brutal winter. They removed all the wet Sheetrock and , insulation. They prepped the dining room by isolating it from the rest of the house. Herbert repaired the walls and ceiling and did an excellent job repainting.
