I hired Albany Environmental to remove asbestos from a barn (taking off the asbestos-containing roof) and to remove vermiculite with asbestos in it from a house. The job was a bit complicated, because of the timeframe and some challenges to accessing the asbestos/vermiculite. Brian and his team took it all in stride, met the timeframe, and kept me informed all along the way. I had used this company previously for some soil contamination and asbestos testing, and they were great, so when I needed the asbestos removed, they were my first choice.

Reasonable price The black mastic under all flooring in the lower level of my raised ranch was found to contain asbestos. Brian was very knowledgeable, explained the process for asbestos abatement, and was very responsive when contacted by text, email or phone. The cost was more than reasonable, especially compared to some other local estimates I obtained. The crew was polite, respectful and got the job done a bit earlier than expected. Highly recommend. We had a fairly small asbestos removal job plus some asbestos testing that we needed before doing renovations. Brian, our contact, was extremely helpful at getting everything set up, explaining the process, and answering any questions that came up. Brian Walloch and Expert Environmental were very honest and straight forward. They were the best! Everyone in the company was the epitome of professionalism, from how they set about their work to the speed at which they worked. The crew was sufficiently bright - competent, and answered all the questions fully and clearly , which I appreciated. I was asking questions throughout the whole process and they made the effort to explain it to me as many times as I needed to get the clear picture. The crew came exactly when the workers were needed, they did their work and removed all the asbestos from the ceiling, as well as everything else they took off and indeed disposed of. It felt nice that the job could safely be executed and controlled. Keep Expert Environmental in mind if you need an abatement.

What an amazing job! We had our pool filled in, and our yard looks amazing. It's like the pool was truly never there. I watched them work every now and again and saw how they really stuck to their word and contract. What was supposed to be removed came out, the fill was clean and as promised. They contacted city, got permit, and respectfully and promptly answered all my questions. I couldn't be happier. Thank you!

My husband and I had a great experience with Expert Environmental in Albany. We had a large attic in a new home that needed vermiculite removed which is a daunting project for a homeowner and they made us feel comfortable and informed from start to finish.
