New Reasonable price My wife and I have had our experiences with different home care companies. Varsity Home Service by far has blew everyone else out of the water. The folks who diagnosed the issue we were having were so respectful and knowledgeable and spoke with confidence and care. The customer support is probably highest rated we have experienced. Transparency, honesty, and responsiveness are three words that I would describe their customer service. As a first time homebuyer, this experience was very needed. I recently had my old traditional boiler replaced with a new Navien NCB-240/130H combination boiler, and I couldn't be happier with the entire experience. Vinny was my estimator and was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He came out the very same day I called to provide an estimate, answered all my questions, and made the entire process simple and straightforward. No games, no runaround, just honest and professional service. The installation crew, Jake, James, and Ramon, were equally impressive. They arrived right on time, worked efficiently, and did an excellent job removing my old boiler and installing the new Navien system. I hired Varsity Home Service based on their online marketing, but experienced total incompetence. After a routine service call on a separate unit, the external circulator pump on my boiler loop began humming violently, smelling like burning electrical parts, and running scorching hot. The emergency technician they sent spent hours in my basement claiming the pump was "running fine, before changing his diagnosis to state that the system wasn't responding to commands. He then openly admitted he lacked experience with Lochinvar boilers. The next morning, a sales representative confirmed over the phone that the company routinely dispatches uncertified technicians who are guided through steps over the phone. When I escalated a formal technical timeline to the General Manager, Varsity immediately blocked my email address to terminate communication regarding a live utility dispute. I had to hire a factory-certified specialist (AWS Mechanical) to resolve the emergency. Varsity's team left the system completely air-bound, causing the pump to dry-run and dangerously overheat. Varsity dispatches unqualified labor, misdiagnoses hazards, and cuts off customer communication when caught. Avoid this company and hire a verified factory specialist.
