Great price The team at South Shore Plumbing and Heating are fantastic! We've called them on multiple occasions and every time they take care of the issue. Most recently, this happened during the 2026 deep freeze. Our oil burner had an issue causing our heat to be out long enough to affect our pipes/heating coil. Dennis added us to his long line of calls that day (I think it was the most they've ever had in one day!) and was able to defrost the affected lines and get everything up and running again. We had a high-pressure situation with a hole in a copper L-pipe in our basement spewing hot water while our usual plumber was out of town. This is 2nd time in last few months we needed plumbing assist with residential bathroom/plumbing/pipe leaking/misc issues in our home. We want to compliment both this company and their employee Ray who did the work. The company was a very good and local company to deal with. Reputable, responsible and I would recommend them highly. Priced very reasonably also. And as an added bonus I would recommend their employee Ray very highly also. He is quite an asset this company and while we hope to now go a long time with no further home plumbing issues, it is good to know that if we need assistance again, that this company can come to our assistance again, and if we ever have a choice of which employee they send to do the job, hopefully it will be Ray. A very nice guy, easy to communicate with, apparently quite honest, someone who I would like to pursue friendship with under other circumstances; an all round good guy and no doubt an excellent asset for this company. Had these guys install water heater and several times for other issues related to sink, tub and toilet. Can't recommend them enough, especially Ray who worked hard to resolve my concern about the main waste pipe. Thankfully, after investigating thoroughly, he addressed the issue and was able to advise me about what to do next. Overpriced | $1–100 I called them to look at a clog I had, dude told my whole sewage pump was gone. They wanted to charge double the price of the pump to get it...when I got a second opinion they told me everything was fine just had a little clog and everything is working now.
