I've had 2 recent experiences with this Company and both have been great. My heat wasn't working earlier this year and John Jr fixed it in no time at all. He walked me through the steps in the process and explained everything. Today, I had a burst water heater. Sylvia at the service desk was prompt in helping me set up an appointment. Fausto and Sammy replaced the tank and the water is up and running again. They explained everything, which is really helpful when dealing with these issues. I'm glad I found these folks and feel comfortable knowing I can count on their service .

Overpriced | $200–400 Hired this team to clear a clog in the sink Plumber broke off a handle, and team (Kimona) wanted to upcharge an additional $225 to fix. I then didn't have hot water for a night Plumber then broke off another handle in the basement Later that same night, I discovered that the tub stopped draining as well. Team came back the following day and then wanted to charge me almost 1k to fix the tub After gathering multiple opinions it seems like the initial plumber caused more issues than they fixed, and to make matters worse the team wanted to charge me to pay to fix their own mistakes. What initially began as an assessment of my unusually high-water bill and a concerning gas smell quickly turned into a thorough and insightful evaluation of my entire plumbing and boiler system. Living in a multifamily home, I find the boiler system to be complex, so I especially appreciated his keen attention to detail. He identified that my boiler for the second floor was incorrectly routed to the first-floor gas water heater, an issue I likely would not have discovered on my own. John Jr. took the time to clearly and thoroughly explain everything and ensuring I fully understood. He was able to successfully fixed the issue right away, including identifying a small gas leak. Additionally, he provided helpful recommendations for addressing my high-water bill, even though no active water leak was found. Top-tier service! I called Sideris on a freezing day, and John saved the day. He fixed my boiler on the spot because he carries extra parts in his van—no waiting days for orders! John fixed the boiler, but also went above and beyond, performing safety tests and cleaning the boiler flues and coils at no extra charge! He even solved my years-long headache by installing a Google Nest Power Connector, finally fixing my thermostat’s power drainage issues caused by my old system. John is a fantastic communicator; he explained everything clearly despite working in tough, freezing conditions. The charges were very fair for the high level of expertise provided. This is officially my #1 choice in NYC for heating and plumbing. Highly recommend!

Just had a really great experience with these guys. After calling a plumber who was pretty sketchy, Sideris was able to come by quickly and address our issues. They fixed our faucet on the spot. Because the previous owner of our apartment didn’t maintain the oil tank, we had a big ask… They came back a few days later to do a full clean up/service of the tank and pipes. These guys were patient and kind and saved us from buying a whole new water heater🙏 they were professional, thorough, and cleaned up before they left. Highly recommended!

We had our boiler go out in 17-degree weather. I called Sideris, and Kimona was on top of the emegency request and responded quickly while providing updates on their eta. They got to me within 2.5 hours of that call. John Jr. came and assessed/resolved our boiler issue promptly. They are licensed and verified to work with Weil-McCain boilers, and it shows. As a matter of fact, I found them on the Weil-Mclain official website of contractors. John fixed some issues our previous plumbers never knew with speed and professionalism. I highly recommend Sideris Plumbing.

WONDERFUL PEOPLE! WONDERFUL SERVICE! I have a unique plumbing situation in my Manhattan apartment. My water system is separate from the building I live in. I have struggled for years to find a company that will work on my water system at all-let alone do competent work. My Super found Sideris Plumbing for me after a different plumbing company, a company who installed a pressure pump for me only 3 years earlier, refused to service that same pump! I called and Kimona (who I assume is the office manager) promptly returned my call for service and she was professional and pleasant and kind! Kimona arranged for John to come out and fix ALL my water problems. I had a real mess on my hands. By the time everything was fixed, I met 4 different guys. ALL friendly and ALL professional. And my water pressure and hot water has never been better. I really had no idea that I had been living with poor water pressure and poorly working hot water. It was a complicated job and they did amazing work in miserably hot conditions. Kimona did a wonderful job of both communicating when the guys would arrive to work on the water system and the cost of parts and labor. I have never been happier with a company hired to work on my apartment. I would give them 6 stars if I could.
