New Not sure I was extremely impressed with Peter and his crew for mitigation of a water damage issue that affected three levels in my home. Service was extremely quick as Peter was here within an hour and a half of calling. The crew worked from 7 to 11:30 on a Friday night to handle the situation and came back a few times to continue the work/ check up. Peter stopped by separately numerous times to check on the work. The team was efficient, personable, reassuring as well as immaculate throughout the whole process. I would never hesitate to call this company. In a time of crisis. Reasonable price I had a very positive experience with Serv-Pro after a burst pipe caused flooding in my kitchen and basement laundry area. They were recommended for flood cleanup and were so responsive and professional that I chose to use them for repair and restoration of the flood damage. I was assigned Dave O. as my project manager - a very nice, unflappable guy who tracked expenses and kept the project within budget. He assembled a great team, including Dave K. the carpenter; Joe the flooring guy, Coco the painter, and more whose names I can’t remember. Everyone was reliable and very pleasant, and did a wonderful job. Dave K. went out of his way to make sure the replacement kitchen cabinets were an exact match to the ones damaged by the flood. The entire staff was professional, always cordial and responsive to my questions. The crew Neson, Damian and Nico were very nice, polite and they professionally done their work neat and very clean. It cost a lot but it goes with the work they do and I understand that. But I'm just not happy with the communication part with the project manager. Came first day, never see him again. Never called to check on the job nor reply to my email. Waiting a long time to get another proposal for the repair. So we felt neglected. Overall good workers but bad management to customer service. For the money they charge, I am sorry, its not worth it!

Reasonable price I had water damage in my basement and Pete and his crew handled it and they were exceptional. Pete came to assess the situation within an hour of me calling ServPro, he had the plumber there shortly after to fix the issue, and he brought his crew to do some cleanup right away. The crew was then scheduled to begin the rest of the work the next business day. Throughout the process everyone always showed up on time and got everything done as scheduled. Pete was also very patient with any questions I had and gave good advice when needed. He was very knowledgeable about everything related to the issue I had and also communicated with my insurance to make sure that all the work was covered. What could have been an extremely stressful situation was a lot less stressful thanks to Pete and his crew. Not sure Terrible service. Left our house demoed and freezing through one of the coldest winters on record and refuse to do anything about it or even apologize. Awful communication, they don’t return phone calls or give updates. Would not recommend this company to anyone. Would give zero stars if google would allow it. Frank, Diana, and everyone we have dealt with in the reconstruction department have been completely useless. Now we’re forced to look for a new contractor to rebuild what Servpro started. Not sure We had an extremely frustrating experience with ServePro of Hicksville/Plainview and would not recommend their services. Like another reviewer mentioned, we were stuck playing phone tag with them while also trying to navigate our homeowners insurance. Communication was inconsistent at best, and at times completely nonexistent. Our home was demoed in October 2025, and as of March 2026, the job is still unfinished. After the demolition, we were left waiting months with little to no progress. We were told to call back in early March to schedule reconstruction, but when we did, no one returned our call. After following up again, we were then told they are fully booked until September 2026—which is incredibly frustrating given that they instructed us to call back to move forward. To make matters worse, the tarping company they used on our roof caused additional damage. We raised this issue multiple times, but were told nothing could be done because there was allegedly pre-existing damage—something we had already been asking them to address since October. Because the demolition included removing a decent amount of insulation from one of our walls, part of our home has been uninhabitable and freezing for months. I am currently five months pregnant, and we have not even been able to begin setting up a nursery due to the state they left our home in. Overall, this has been an incredibly stressful and disappointing experience. We feel completely let down and would strongly caution others before using this company.

I’m delighted to post a 5 Star review for ServPro of Hicksville/Plainview. Last week I had a lint buildup in a dryer that began to smolder. After I was certain that there was no risk of a fire I called ServPro. The office closest to my location was the Hicksville/Plainview office. Within 30 minutes of making a call two gentlemen from that location, Gian and Kevin, were at my home. We had just completed a major renovation at our home and so I had asked them if they had booties and, if not, I would be delighted to supply them. They said they did not and booties were necessary as they would remove their shoes. A very respectful and courteous gesture. After looking at the area, I was concerned as to what level of remediation was necessary. It became exceedingly evident that they were not trying to sell me anything or upsell me. They stated while there was some smoke there was no health risk and no need for any remediation. They did state that to the extent I felt the odor did not dissipate to my satisfaction that they would come back to my home and bring 2 HEPA filters, but it was their opinion that was not necessary. Their integrity was quite refreshing and they were both very professional and courteous. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of ServPro remediation services from the Hicksville/Plainview office.

Reasonable price SERVPRO of Hicksville/Plainview handled water and mold remediation at my home, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. They were professional, responsive, and incredibly thorough, from removing all the water damage and mold to fully repairing my bathroom. Everything was cleaned, restored, and completed within about a month, which is impressive given how extensive the damage was.
