New I contacted Roto-Rooter tonight regarding a clogged bathroom sink, and unfortunately, the entire experience was disappointing from start to finish. The gentleman who answered my initial call was less than pleasant and seemed bothered by my call, as though I was inconveniencing him simply by requesting service. When the technician arrived at my home, I politely asked him to wear shoe covers, as we do not wear outside shoes inside our home. Rather than simply accommodating the request, he visibly expressed his annoyance by sucking his teeth before returning to his van to retrieve them. After discussing two possible solutions to the clog, he informed me that the company would charge $695 to run a cable with a ball attachment through my pipes. I expressed that I found the price unreasonable. At that point, the technician abruptly got up and walked out of my home without saying another word. When I followed up and asked whether that was the end of our interaction, he simply replied, "Yeah," before turning around and heading back to his truck. I understand that businesses have established pricing, and I respect their right to charge accordingly. However, professionalism, courtesy, and basic communication should not be dependent on whether a customer agrees to a quoted price. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Roto-Rooter. I would encourage others to consider a reputable, locally owned plumbing company that values customer service, respects customers' homes, and is willing to communicate professionally, even when an agreement cannot be reached.

Vinny E. Quickly came to my home for an emergency evening service call. He was able to explain the problem and the work that needed to be done. That evening he was able to temporarily patch the problem, he returned two days later with supplies and an extra hand. He made me feel comfortable with what he was doing and thoroughly explained the cost of work and materials. I will absolutely recommend and use his service again. Very appreciative!

I give my experience with this company A++++ from start to finish!!! It started with such a friendly and warm customer service representative on the phone. I had another representative come by from the company who just as friendly and knowledgeable and kind to my house to evaluate my situation. Then both plumbers where knowledgeable, friendly, quick, qualified, and came when then said they would. I honestly was dealing with a very stressful moment at that point when the plumbing issues happened and they helped to quickly resolve my problem with effectively and with care! I can’t recommend them enough!!
