I would never recommend this company to anyone I care about. We hired Puroclean to do water damage cleanup after a leak in our house. The project manager they sent out was clearly new to this and inexperienced, and had terrible communication skills. The two Latina women actually doing the work were fantastic and conveyed the reality of the situation far more clearly than the "boss." Upon remediation, a large amount of mold was found and even though I stressed my concern regarding this mold, I was told "it would be fine" and that there "wasn't enough mold" for them to do a mold remediation. Mind you, there was enough that all of the drywall in our basement, 2ft up from the ground, had to be removed. Additionally, they often left the barrier to these affected areas open while they worked and falling off the wall when they left. The areas were not contained and it felt like they were not taking it seriously. About a month later, after PuroClean had said everything was good to go, we started to get sick. We had the house tested and it showed that mold was found in very high levels in the affected areas, as well as the surrounding areas now because it was not properly sealed. Not only that, they moved pieces of affected material (moldy trim pieces) into new sections of the house that weren't even affected and now we have to clean those areas. We needed someone we could count on to remedy this situation, and instead we got Puroclean. Not only did they handle this job unprofessionally, they actually made our situation worse by spreading mold around our home. Stay far away from this company. Keenan was professional and thorough. I asked if he could do the job sooner rather than later, and he came right out, gave me an estimate, cleaned up human waste, and noticed water damage, which he also cleaned up. Great price Excellent company!! Dan and Devin who worked with me we're very efficient. If I called them they were quick to return a call back. I had a roof ice dam damage on February 14th 2026 from 20 inches of snow in upstate New York. My bedroom and bathroom both suffered the same fate. Leaked around windows, ceilings, walls, floor. You name it it got wet. Anyway they were quick to come out and dry out everything that needed to be dry out. Cutting out the old and making sure there was no moisture before they started to commence work. They worked effortlessly with my insurance company. Every person that came to do a specific job you could tell it was highly knowledgeable in their field of expertise. They were all very hard workers. Non-stop go go go! They moved the furniture for me out of the way so work would commence and once work was complete they even moved the furniture back and we're very careful about moving everything. The craftsmanship by each worker of their own specialty was above and beyond. You can tell they really cared about their work. I'm very pleased with the outcome of the work that this company provided for me. All the repairs we're done in a timely fashion. If I had any questions or concerns I could call and they were very quick to respond. Every worker did their job and cleaned up perfectly when they were done so I really had very little to do. They are all very nice and I appreciate everything they did. I highly recommend this company. They care about doing the work right the first time and pleasing their customers. It's good to know that there's hard workers and honest people out there that will do repairs when mother nature strikes. But I have high praise for all their workers and they were all very professional. I thank them all from the bottom of my heart. I'm very pleased with my end result of the jobs that they performed. If I had any questions or concerns they were always right there to answer them. They work seamlessly with my insurance company which was less of a hassle for me. Reasonable price No-one wants any damage to their home. Mine started with an ice dam that caused a leak. My insurance company recommended Puro clean. From beginning to end they were nothing but professional. WAIT let me ref-raze that, they were better than professional. They stayed in contact from beginning to end, they even contacted my insurance company to get and keep things moving. They did a complete room tear down, and mold removal. Great people, extremely professional, friendly, knowledgeable. One of the most notable things, is how clean they left my home everyday when they were finished. I would recommend them without any second thoughts. If you find yourself in need of any home repairs due to water, fire or anything else Puro clean handles, you won’t be disappointed in the results. Reasonable price PuroClean responded quickly to our request for mold inspection and remediation. We used the opportunity to remodel the master bathroom, with the help of Dan Waage and his team. From the start, Dan inspired confidence by listening to our ideas and concerns, giving us straight answers, and coming to the house frequently to check each step of the work. All members of his team worked well together. They were very kind and considerate of our family. Dan made sure that every detail was completed to our satisfaction, including design, plumbing, electrical, parts, fixtures, custom vanity, tiling, and painting. If part of the work took longer than anticipated, his people worked extra hours on the weekend to stay on schedule. Dan's leadership and the loyalty of his team were key. For example, when a delivery was delayed, his carpenter drove to New York to pick it up himself. The workmanship, particularly on the vanity and tiling exceeded expectations with a uniquely beautiful final result. Would I recommend Dan and his team? I certainly would. Not sure Danny, Hesita and the different puroclean team members were all very friendly and helpful! They worked with our insurance making it a smooth process. We had ice dams damage a room in our home so they removed all damaged areas, got rid of the moisture, pieced the space all back together and made the room better than it was before. 4/20 to update my review: their response was that we told them we would have our own contractor do the repairs once their work was completed which is a complete lie! We said no such thing! They’re obviously trying to cover their tracks. They were recommended to us by Allstate due to minor water dmg from our kitchen ceiling. They had to remove a kitchen cabinet and cut a larger hole in the ceiling and wall to make sure it was completely dry before sheet rocking, painting, etc… We were assured that the construction company they work with would be able to complete the job of sheet rocking, painting, etc…, However, after they made bigger holes in my wall and ceiling Karson informed my husband that unfortunately, the construction company wouldn’t be able to complete the job leaving us to find our own construction company to finish the mess they left. Puroclean should’ve checked with the construction company they work with first to make sure they could complete the work. If we had been informed of this from the beginning we would’ve gone with a different company.

Puroclean was hired to assess water damage in our finished basement. Karson arrived promptly to assess the situation. Work quickly began to dry up the area and remove damaged materials & property. Karson then coordinated all aspects of the mold remediation process before referring our project to Kevin for an assessment of our restoration needs. Dan and his team then took over to complete the restoration services. The team was punctual, detail oriented, responsive, went above and beyond to ensure that restoration services were completed to our satisfaction, and were a pleasure to work with. 2/26 Thrilled with Nick and Eamon for their professionalism. This team understood my concerns about the water damage to my wood floor,. Nick explained the paperwork that was needed to proceed, equipment and its noise. Both wore shoe covers to prevent further damage to my oak floors from the snow/ice outside. Explained how often they’d be returning to check and always called to share the time they’d be at my home. My husband and I were able to go about our daily routines because on they’re promptness! We had our propane fireplace spew soot this winter, coating our entire home in a layer of grey sticky oily soot. Ceiling, walls.. everything. We contacted PuroClean and they had an inspector (Carson) over in an HOUR! Two days later they sent the team of Lewis, Gloria and Anna over and for three days they scrubbed our entire home, every surface! So nice, polite, professional and most of all GOOD! Amazing service, amazingly fast. If I could give them more stars I would. Highly recommend this company if you experience something that requires a much higher level of cleaning/restoration than a general house cleaner. If you are in the Kingston NY area - Ask for Lewis' team, I really can't thank them enough for what they did for us.
