Could not have had a better experience. They were prompt, had amazing follow through, explained the process to me with kid gloves, worked directly with my insurance, and were so friendly. Two big reasons I’d go back to them aside from the above: 1. The team talks. From the front desk to the guys on the job, to the owners. Who ever you speak to knows who you are and what the status is. 2. They’re honest. Got an original quote from another vendor and it was much higher. I went back to the other vendor and told them no, once I did that they came down in price. Service Master by Burch was transparent and honest the whole way through.

I guess it’s no secret how unbelievably stressful even a little water in your basement can be! I have learned over the years to not wait even a second before calling the insurance company in an emergency like this. They gave me three names. Servicemaster was number two. I didn’t have to hear that twice. Justin and Corey were as clear, responsive, and professional as anyone I’ve ever dealt with in business. I can give them only the highest marks for every detail of their service and communication.

I could not have gotten a better group of people to help with the clean up after my fire. They did an excellent job and are very reliable. I always knew when the team would be arriving to the house to work. Tara was excellent with communication. They were very supportive and compassionate giving much needed emotional support and reassurance. They were great working with me on the whole process of what to do with things that needed to go or stay. Another thing about the team is they were very respectful . I can’t say enough good things about Sean and his team. I am thankful that God sent them my way.

March 2025 I called the office of Servicemaster by Burch in Otego NY on New Year’s Eve at 2:30 pm after being notified that our summer home in the Catskill Mountains of N.Y. had a pin-hole leak in the plumbing and was causing a spray of water that had apparently been going on for perhaps three weeks before being shut off (yes, I do have a floor drain). There was some black mold on walls, furnishings, my workshop and lots of tools in it had already rusted. Sean of Servicemaster was at our home the day after New Years Day and set to work doing restoration work. He brought in dehumidifiers, heating units, air cleaners and immediately began cataloging items with photos for me that could be salvaged and those that could not and also sent me a 360-degree video of the damage since we are now residents of So. Carolina and far away - very helpful. My brother-in-law lives nearby and has looked in once in a while and gave me progress reports. Sean had brought in a mold specialist who wrote up a report on the extent of remediation work needed and Sean began removing non-salvageable items, the drywall from all walls, the acoustical tiles, and the floor carpet. All were disposed of. Sean and his team have been efficient, easy to work with and obviously knowledgeable in their field. Fast forward and now the work is done and I am ready to have a contractor come in to rebuild the basement. Our insurance company, State Farm, will reimburse us immediately upon receiving receipts for replacement cost of damaged and discarded goods. Bottom line: I completely recommend Servicemaster by Burch for any restoration work needed.
