New Great price Jim and his team did an exceptional job on the mold issue in my late mother’s home. They are proficient, kind and extremely professional. They did a thorough job of eradicating the mold in the basement along with correcting a foundational seal issue. Reasonable price We hired PuroClean to help us with a very cluttered apartment just before we moved. They accommodated us at the last minute, and worked with us to come up with a price that was very fair. The workers showed up on time each day, and were very professional and non-judgmental. They cleaned quickly and efficiently, and finished on time. Their work was so impressive that we also hired them for junk removal and a deep clean when we moved out. Again, they did a wonderful job that the landlord was impressed with, and pricing was very fair. Great price I recently had Jim and his crew from Puroclean out to my house because my refrigerator line had a leak and spread underneath my kitchen flooring. This is my second time using Puroclean and they are great the 1st time too! Jim came out that night to take a look, and he told me the steps to take to get a hold of my insurance. He shut the water off to the refrigerator after finding where the leak was and his team came the next day and fixed the line, removed my flooring, and placed drying equipment. They worked directly with my insurance as well and that saved me alot of stress. Would definitely use Jim and his Puroclean crew again!

Basement flooded for the 2nd time in 3 years due to a sump pump drainage issue. Not great. Called PuroClean because they were excellent the first time around and I trusted them. They showed up fast, got the water out, set up drying equipment, and handled the mess without hesitation. The crew was personable and professional. Jim was easy to deal with and explained the process including what to do for insurance next steps (even though that wasn’t part of their job - it was refreshing to not feel completely defeated by the disaster at hand). Week after Christmas 2025 we had a major melt. Unfortunately one of my two sump pumps failed and our entire basement which we just finished 1 ear prior flooded with 3" of water. We were devastated. We called PuroClean of Syracuse and they came right out to inspect the damage. Shortly after a crew of three people showed up and started pumping the water out. They proceeded to demo the basement tearing our carpeting, LVP flooring, furniture, and 1' of sheetrock in 7 rooms. They installed fans and dehumidifiers and dried the basement out. They worked direct with my insurance company Travelers. Overall we are extremely happy with the job completed. It could have been a lot worse. Their sense of urgency and care made an awful experience survivable. PuroClean really took care of us. We are now in the process of re-finishing the basement. Would I hire PuroClean again? You bet we would!

We called PuroClean to look at a mold issue in our basement. Jim got us in contact with another company to provide a mold assessment. Both companies helped guide us to be able to do the remediation process in a safe and more affordable way on our own. We are grateful that we were not pushed to do the work and that even though we chose to decline their services, Jim still answered all my questions and refused to accept any compensation for his time. If we ever do need their services, we will absolutely be calling PuroClean.

I would give zero stars. However it is not an option!!! It is unacceptable and deeply concerning that a company claiming to specialize in mold remediation failed to use the proper equipment to identify the source of the mold. The conditions on-site were clearly unhealthy, yet you James insisted there was no problem. That assessment was inaccurate and irresponsible given the evident risks to human health. What should have been a simple job turned into a two-month ordeal marked by delays, indifference, and poor communication. This was not a minor inconvenience—someone’s health and safety were directly impacted. The disregard shown throughout this process demonstrated a lack of professionalism, integrity, and basic human compassion. It appeared that profit was prioritized over doing the job correctly and safely. James when it was later proven that members of your staff had been untruthful regarding claims of mistreatment(with video proof), there was no accountability, no corrective action, and no apology was issued. That failure in leadership and transparency reflects poorly on the company’s credibility and ethics. Mold remediation is not a casual business—it involves serious health hazards that demand diligence, honesty, and care. The conduct displayed in this situation was negligent and inexcusable. She is not alone in this—she has family standing firmly by her side. I would not recommend this company to anyone. The handling of this serious, time-sensitive issue was unacceptable, especially when people’s health was on the line.
