Great price I called 6 plumbers these guys got here the fastest, were the most responsive and then, 6 repaired burst pipes later, were also sweet, helpful and affordable. Albert and Miguel were so great. My only complaint is that their boss was a little rude about the payment methods. But other than that it was a smooth, seamless experience.

Reasonable price | $400–500 We recently had a broken pipe from the frigid weather. Before staff came we spoke to the owner, after looking via pictures and were informed of the possible work scope and a tentative pricing range, Parkset with a very busy scheduled day sent staff out within the hour to help and was reasonably priced. Staff took the time to explain everything they did and were very courteous and did a great job! I thank Parkset owner and staff and would recommend Parkset services!

Great price | $300–400 I’m a townhouse homeowner in crown heights. i’ve been using Parkset for at least sixteen years. In that time, they have serviced our original boiler every season, replaced our boiler when it finally got too old, replaced our water heater, roughed in plumbing for two small renovations, bled radiators, added radiators, replaced radiator valves, tested our gas piping, fixed a clogged shower valve, and replaced a garbage disposal. Their plumbers are always courteous, clean in their work, and professional. They explain why things were done and what to watch out for. As an architect, i’ve seen good plumbing work that is “squared away” and sloppy, lazy plumbing work. These are the good ones. Are they the cheapest out there? No. but with plumbing you do indeed get what you paid for. these guys don’t need to get called back. the owner, Tom, frequently makes visits or even answers the phone himself and is a tremendous repository of knowledge sometimes able to help customers solve problems before the visit when it might take a day or two to get there. unreservedly recommend. A few days before the New Year our 28 year old Burnham boiler died. We had anticipated that it might not last the winter, so we had taken a few estimates in November and had already decided to work with Parkset when the time came, so we called them right away. Our new Burnham SteamMax was installed a few days ago by a hardworking, knowledgeable and very professional team. Two technicians returned to the house a few days later to trouble-shoot an issue of low water in the boiler. When we called, they were very responsive and arrived without delay. Again, a very professional interaction. From beginning to end working with Parkset personnel in office and in the field has been a pleasure. This is a firm that offers excellent plumbing in a fair and transparent manner. These guys are real deal.

This used to be a great plumber but they have become increasingly dishonest and way overpriced. I recently paid $1000 to have the electrical panel on my boiler moved, only to then have to pay another plumber to move it again because it was in a dangerously hot location. The second plumber only charged $200. Find a different plumber.

We sincerely apologize for the negative experience you had with our service. Your concerns regarding pricing and safety are taken very seriously, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We strive to provide high-quality work at a fair price, and it's clear we fell short in your case. We will be reviewing our practices to ensure this does not happen again in the future. Thank you for your feedback.

Would give it negative stars if I could. I called to inquire about a bidet installment and the guy was rude, said he “would never touch” my bidet because it’s an Asian brand. Told me to “just buy an American bidet then maybe it’ll just work” So unprofessional and honestly came off racist. Don’t understand the high ratings for this place
Business reply
Parkset Plumbing & Heating Co., Inc
I recall our conversation very vividly and I spoke to a gentleman on the phone and not a Jacqueline. As a potential customer we tried assisting you on the phone upon your request for the installation of a bidet seat that you stated has been somewhat problematic for you to install it yourself due to missing parts issue. We made a statement that some imported products from Asia are difficult to deal with as you also stated yourself. We recommended that you purchase a brand name product like Toto which is readably available locally which you refused. We certainly did not make a racist comment towards a group of people but rather an imported off-brand product of poor quality sold on the internet. I am shocked you would take me out of context like this because of the frustration you were having with a purchase of a bidet seat that you made on the internet. I am offended and certainly deny such an accusation against my character as an outstanding as well as benevolent citizen servicing all nationalities for over 60 years in the five boroughs of NYC. I did not perform any work for you and placed no harm upon you and find your review unsubstantiated and simply a verbal attack to defame my company for no good reason. I suggest you take a better look at yourself rather than taking your anger out on an innocent party who tried to help and in return you posted a negative review.

I usually don’t do reviews but I just had to share my amazing experience with Parkset Plumbing. I’ve been relying on Tom and the team at Parkset Plumbing for years, and they’ve consistently delivered outstanding service. Their pricing is fair and flexible, but what really stands out is the quality of their work—it’s always done right the first time. The crew is made up of experienced professionals, efficient, and respectful of your space. When we had an issue in our home, Tom responded immediately and had it resolved quickly and safely. He’s one of the kindest and most honest service providers I’ve ever met. It’s rare to find someone in this industry who genuinely cares about doing the right thing. Tom goes above and beyond every single time. Parkset Plumbing has earned my complete trust and highest recommendation, truly the best in the business!
