New Not sure | $200–400 We had a great experience with Zach from Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Saratoga Springs! Zach came out to fix our clogged shower drain and got it taken care of quickly. He also explained how to help prevent it from happening again. And, of course, he handled the gross hair clog that no one wants to deal with. He made an unpleasant plumbing problem a much better experience. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. He briefly mentioned some of the other plumbing services offered- all without being pushy. We really appreciated Zach’s professionalism and positive attitude. Thanks for a job well done, Zach! I learned from a septic pumping company that there were roots growing in the outlet pipe that connects my septic tank to the drain field. This is not uncommon in systems that have been in use for a number of years, and eventually can result in a back up. To be proactive, I called that same company to request that someone come to evaluate and correct the situation. I called three times over a period of a month, and no one contacted me. So, I did some searching and found that Mr. Rooter might be able to help. I called to request an evaluation, and they scheduled an appointment for the very next day. Tyler arrived, properly evaluted the challenge, and after a short discussion began the work on the same day. Later that day, Zach joined the effort. Tyler and Zach were polite and professional, worked steadily, and kept me informed of their progress. The job was completed on the following morning. They removed and replaced ~ 12 feet of drain pipe that was packed with roots. I am glad that I was proactive, and happy that I called Mr. Rooter.

We were disappointed by this one-star review because it does not reflect the service that was actually provided and reinforces the unfortunate perception that the time, knowledge, and expertise of a skilled tradesperson are somehow worth less than those of other professionals. Just as a doctor’s time, knowledge, experience, and professional expertise have value, so does the time and expertise of a skilled plumbing professional. Our technician responded to a clogged toilet, took the time to properly diagnose the issue, and used professional equipment to clear the obstruction. The toilet was left draining again, and the customer was advised that the age of the fixture (1988) was contributing to its slow drainage. It is also worth noting that we performed the same service at this property just five days earlier and received a five-star review for the work performed. Just as a doctor’s time, knowledge, experience, and professional expertise have value, so does the time and expertise of a skilled plumbing professional. Our technicians invest in training, specialized equipment, and years of hands-on experience to diagnose plumbing problems and resolve them properly. We stand behind the work that was performed and remain committed to providing our customers with clear, honest pricing and quality workmanship.
