New We had a pipe burst in February. The basement had some flooding so we contacted our insurance company and they sent over Mitigation Solutions. We had no idea what the flood would lead to. We ended up having to gut the entire finished basement. It was a very traumatic time dealing with the demolition, the mold abatement, the reconstruction, and the insurance company. Thank God for Melanie and her crew. Melanie closely guided us through the entire ordeal, constantly keeping us informed. Her crew did an unbelievable amount of work quickly and efficiently. Everyone was a pleasure to work with. We could not have made it through the entire process without them. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who needed their services.

However, concerns arose when we questioned the independent test results. We believe that peer review and independent verification are important parts of the process and may not always produce glowing feedback. What truly distinguishes a professional company is how it responds to questions and constructive criticism. In our case, that response fell short of expectations.

I got a call from Myra around dinner time when I was with Barbara and she told me that there is a pool of smelly water flowing out from behind her stove in the kitchen downstairs apartment In Barbara’s house in Long Beach Long Island I than called Long Beach plumbing and heating Myra and her husband Ollie and two young daughters live downstairs in Barbara’s house They are wonderful people and our family Ben from Long Beach plumbing came over to look at the situation and it’s coming from the sewer pipe under the slab concrete in the ground So he jack hammerd and dug out a 2 foot deep and dug out six long to uncover the pipe The pipe was broken in and corroded Ben also said that the kitchen cabinets have water damage and they have to be replaced too Ben took out the damaged pipes and replaced it with new ones in which he did a great job Ben than introduced us all to Nick. Nick owner of American Mitagation Solutions they do emergency home repairs and restorations for homes and businesses Barbara, I, Myra and Ollie all took a liking to him very friendly and a family man Nick told us that all the kitchen cabinets and floor ceramic tiles have to replaced due the water damage from the sewer pipes Nick had Myra look at all kinds of kitchen cabinets and tiles and she picked out really nice designs Nicks team did a wonderful job putting in the new tiles and kitchen cabinets when finished the kitchen looked fantastic I highly recommend Nick and his team to anyone needing a new kitchen due to the beautiful job that was done Barbara Myra Ollie and I mike thank you so very much we all appreciate it a job well done 👍

We had a fire causing the complete gutting of the 1st floor of our home, 75% of our total space. They handled this well, and got all our smoke damaged belongings out of the home for cleaning, with artwork specialists, furniture specialists, etc... and prepared the home for reconstruction - then recommending a great contractor we had GREAT success with - Upon the return of furniture, we had one damaged antique and without any fight they agreed they should cover the repair and did. We had to have asbestos removed and Melanie took care of everything. She was is constant contact with us every step of the way. We all know how things can get held up during this Covid pandemic but that didn’t hold my job up. The job was scheduled promptly. The workers got here on time, they were polite, accommodating and they made it possible for us to use our home the best we could after they removed all the flooring. For something that could have been a nightmare, this could not have been more pleasant. We even had a pesky neighbor come over and the workers calmly spoke with him too!
