After coming home to a flooded yard (with water seeping into our basement) last weekend, we were in desperate need of immediate help. We randomly called Kevin from the list of master plumbers provided by South Huntington Water District, and from the very first phone call, we knew we were in good hands. Kevin answered immediately and was at our house within the hour to assess the situation. From the moment he arrived, he took the time to thoroughly walk us through what was happening, explain exactly what needed to be done, and answer every question we had. His knowledge, professionalism, and calm demeanor instantly put our minds at ease during an incredibly stressful situation. Before leaving that first visit, Kevin had already prioritized us on his schedule and immediately began coordinating everything needed for the job — permits, equipment, crew, and logistics — all within just a matter of days. Throughout the entire process, he was consistently available, responsive, and communicative, always keeping us informed every step of the way. Kevin and his team were truly one of the most professional companies we have ever worked with. They were punctual, respectful, incredibly hardworking, and took exceptional care of our property. When the job was complete, everything was left absolutely spotless. What really set Kevin apart, though, was the way he treated us as people. He was personable, patient, honest, and genuinely supportive while we were dealing with the stress of the situation. Even our kids loved him and kept asking when “Kevin the plumber” was coming back because they enjoyed having him here so much! These days, it is rare to find this level of service, honesty, transparency, and genuine care. Our only complaint is that we wish we had known about KEVIN A GALLAGHER INC sooner!! If you need any plumbing work done, do yourself a favor and call Kevin. You will not be disappointed.

Had a very positive experience with Kevin and his team. They were referred by another plumber for their expertise in replacing a main water line from the street to the house. Kevin came to assess the job within a few hours (on a Friday afternoon) and came on the following Tuesday to complete the job. His team was very efficient and did a great job with the repairs. Highly recommend.

I’ve spoke with the office at Gallager plumbing on a Thursday at 1:30 PM to replace the waterline from the street to the house. Kevin was at my house by 3 o’clock, looked over the work and quoted a very fair price. The job was completed on Friday (yes the next day) by 2:30. The crew was professional, polite, and thorough. Kevin is a gentleman, polite, funny, enthusiastic, and the perfect contractor to work with. I had quotes from two other plumbers, neither of whom got back to me to set up a start date.

Great Experience with Kevin Gallagher and his crew. I had to replace main sewer line, and after so many research I trusted Kevin to get the work done. He is incredibly helpful, honest, intelligent and very knowledgeable for what he does. They worked cleanly and quickly. They are very reasonable on their rates compared to 6 other estimates I got from different companies. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Stay away. Called and texted him about a dozen times to fix my thermostat. Made multiple promises several times and never showed up. I’m sure his family was warm when we needed him the most. Stay away and go elsewhere.

Mr. Kevin Gallagher and his team is a class act. Very professional and on time. I had to get my water pipe replaced. He gave an appropriate estimate and he very honest. The team cleaned up the work that helped to minimize any mess. I’m so happy with the work and I would recommend to them to everyone and they are worth it. The team works with honesty and integrity. As a woman I felt comfortable with the team and Mr. Gallagher. My only regret that I didn’t used them sooner. I was so stressed out this week. My water main pipe was leaking and water was pouring out on my driveway and down my neighborhood. Kevin’s company was responsive, respectful, professional, and moved up my job as an emergency, and fixed my pipe and made sure to try and keep the excavation to as little as possible. I went with his company instead of the five other plumbing company’s I was able to get quotes from because he was so professional and knowledgeable. I do not usually write reviews, but this company deserves five stars, and I would give more if I could. He also took care of all the emergency permits my village needed. I was happily surprised to hear he handled all the permits because that was just another stress that I didn’t want to deal with. This is definitely the company you should trust when having projects and emergencies. Also, they finished the job early and left zero mess to clean up. This is a great company!
