Kaufman plumbing is outstanding. Grady replaced a kitchen faucet this summer. Recently he installed a kohler toilet - measured for new one, disposed of old one and installed a beautiful new one. Grady is knowledgeable, welcoming, hard working, neat as a pin and a talented individual who takes pride in his work and the family business. Highly recommend them to all!!

Not sure Do not hire this company if you want prompt service. We hired them based on a recommendation from the company that installed our pool. They "completed" a job and 2 days later, the brand new pipe they'd just installed was leaking. Now we have gone back and forth with their office about sending someone out to fix it. They continually lie and say someone is coming out and no one shows up. It has been 2 weeks. Edited to add a response to the response below. The work on our home wasn't done, so why would I pay for something that wasn't finished? The fact remains that your initial visit was 5/1, you were notified of the problem on 5/4, and in between 5/4 & 5/18 you didn't respond to messages and/or said you were coming and didn't show. The work wasn't done until 5/18. We did not receive an invoice until 5/27, and payment was mailed for that invoice on 6/3. My review remains valid and correct that your company did not send someone to finish/correct the job for 2 weeks, which is unacceptable. Services Outdoor plumbing system repair

Reasonable price J&E really saved us after that big snowstorm in January. We woke up that morning with no heat and our home was already very cold. We called several companies and due to our heater being from an international company, many places told us they couldn’t help us. J&E moved us to the top of their list and the crew worked very hard and tirelessly to help us troubleshoot the problem. They were communicative throughout the process and their pricing was more than fair for all time and labor involved. $100–200 initial conversation with clients need to be more accurate. No potential client would appreciate being manipulated in paying a service charge that wasn’t communicated PRIOR said service: I have asked 3 seperate occasions on if there was a charge to be paid for an inspection. At no point, a TIME LIMIT was discussed verball or written. After technician Jerry spent around 30 minutes to inspect my rads and valves( just a quick look for pitch angle no instruments used, & open/close valves). I ask again “r u sure that there is no service charge for this inspection?” he said “no worries i will have my front desk reach out for the ESTIMATE of repair”. Next morning to my surprise i get an invoice for sevice being over an hour. Even after being dissatisfied i am forced to pay. We have some good local businesses in baldwin. No need for this kinda slimyness. What was done here is not cool and leaves a very sour feeling tbh.

Reasonable price | $200–300 We had an issue with our gas steam heat furnace and it was an emergency. Jimmy called us back and explained what we could do ourselves but since we were away and our son was home, he came over and took care of the issue in the next hour. Great service and great work! $100–200 Called this company to repair my oil boiler was not getting heat on 2nd floor, gentleman by the nam John, courteous, friendly showed up explained the work he done referred company's electrical plumber Ed. Ed made two appointments no show call or text until I reached out first time to call him then he sent an apologetic text with a very lame excuse. Second, time (this past Tuesday) I called the office to explain spoke to Donna, who so very Quickly without explanation she was transferring the call to John. I then very shortly after speaking to John received a text from Ed, he Locked his phone in his car couldn't reach out to me to cancel appointment. Upon speaking to the owner, Rob, who apologized for the electrician not showing due to his hectic schedule..apology accepted & life happens. I ended up going with another company to repair my boilers electrical problem. I cannot give J&E a negative rating in my opinion Communication is very important & an apology from the owner Rob and the electrical plumber Ed...at the end of a day were all human, sometimes appointments can't be kept, that's Life & Life is always happening 🫶🏿 Services Service not listed

Great price | $400–500 I was having the hardest time finding a plumber to come and install my shower rough in - I finally called J&E plumbing and they sent John out to my parents house - not only did he do great woe but he explained everything he did and made everyone feel really comfortable with the work he did. I contacted this plumber to repair a toilet that was running continually. He charged me $230.00, plus tax, for this service, but did not perform the repair -- the toilet continued to run. I called him back and he returned a day or two later, but he was still unable to fix the toilet. I asked for a refund, since the problem had not been solved, but he basically told me to get lost and kept my money. I have reported the matter to the town plumbing license officials and asked my credit card company for a chargeback. This plumber is unethical and incompetent, and will take your money without solving the problem he was called in for. Buyer Beware!
