Was quoted an all-in base price with a few potential caveats (as is necessary when you're not sure what you'll find) and was charged exactly the base price. Service was professional, on time, talked through what they were doing, and pulled a lot of greasy junk out of the line. Confident that the problem is solved for a long time this time. Reasonable price | $200–300 Easton Dylan provided excellent service. The technician was professional and capable. He came to snake a drain in my historic home. Prior to his visit I had another 'popular' plumbing company to do the work but the guy was woefully unqualified to think the problem through.The Easton Dylan plumber realized there was a obstacle preventing the snake from doing its job; It turns out it was going down an old pathway that was closed off. Once the Easton Dylan Plumber understood that the drain had a false entry, he found the correct angle and redirected the snake and completed the job, cleaned up the area, and charged me a reasonable fee for a job well done! Great price Background story Ok this is going to be a stellar review....I had a very bad sewer backup into the basement of my house. I called a sewer and drain company and they worked on the issue for 2 days and could not resolve the issue. In addition the sewer company wanted to charge me 17k to dig up all the pipes and to put in new pipes bc they were assuming that the pipes were bad and disjoineted.... This was Tuesday/Wednesday of no results just a company handing me a quote. The quote stated repairs based on findings but they did not give findings... Now read below for the good stuff..... Saving Grace As I was in tears bc I was not sure of what to do I reched out to our local plumber Joe fro J.Chiera & Sons. BTW if you need a local plumber/HVAC without a doubt this is your go to person. When I called Joe upset he recommended Easton Dylan Sewer and Drain. Joe told me to call Easton and explain what happened. The next morning Thursday morning 7-23-26 I called first thing in the mornign and spoke to a very nice compassionate person named Cheryl. Cheryl immediately called a tech named Zach while i was on the phone and within an hour Zach showed up at my home. Zach came with a partner and forgive me i forgot his name but he was excellent too. Zach not only fixed the issue by bringing what I call a big boy snake and not a home depot diy size snake like the other company brought. Zach had water flowing and had my house up and running within an hour..... After he got the clogg cleared in the sewer line Zach then ran a camera down the pipes to ensure that everything looked ok. For anyone reading this if you live in the upstate area albany Troy area without Easton Dylan Sewer is the most legit, honest, hardworking sewer drain company I have the priviledge of working with. They earned my trust so much that, I asked them to look at all the cast iron pipes in my basement and get me a quote to replace them with PVC. They took measurements and within an hour they gave me a great priced quote and my wife and I immediately signed off on it. Bottom Line- Easton Dylan Sewer and Drain Company is the best! Great price | $400–600 Zach is absolutely BRILLIANT! I have a historic 1880s home and the tub had stopped up. I had tried everything DIY I could to get it going, but no luck. Zach came the day after I called, snaked 100' feet out and discovered A DIFFERENT LEAK which had been rotting the plywood above my pantry. He was able to replace the old, leaky pipes with PVC until the seals were nice and tight, and then found the source of the tub backup, which had been a long time accumulation of sediment. He fixed it, tested it, and even cleaned the tub afterwards, so it's ready for bathing again! The price was very reasonable for 2.5 hours of work. I also love that they are local and not a chain. Great price | $400–500 I called with a non-urgent project because my basement toilet was not working well. It was very easy to schedule an appointment within days. The day of the appointment they gave me plenty of notice the prior job may run late which was greatly appreciated. Zach arrived and did lots of snaking, a camera review of the drain, unclogged my garage drain, swapped out a toilet for me. All in a really short span of time. The man is like a machine! He explained everything to me in an easy to understand way. He showed me some things of interest as he worked which was great because it’s a new to me house and there were a few things I didn’t know and some I thought I knew! Zach was courteous and professional and a really hard worker. Ultimately he thought my toilet issue may be a collapsed pipe. The cost of his work was very reasonable and they sent an easy to pay e-invoice where they accept Apple and Google pay and credit or debit cards. Overall I’m really happy with Zach, and Easton Dylan.
