False advertising and scamming. This company only owns and uses a small electric snake. If that doesn't work, they send someone with a bigger electric snake, but don't tell you ahead of time they are a subcontractor. Then your billed extreme amounts for using a subcontractor. If i knew i would have just hired a" real" plumbing company. If they do not own the tools necessary to fix plumbing issues, they should not be allowed to advertise implying they are equipped to do the job.

Most plumbing shops in the capital region use what's called book time when they bid jobs. That's how you end up paying some guy $1,000 to change your toilet. Whites is one of the last shops that still does time and material and their labor rate is between 100 and $115 an hour. A lot of unlicensed plumbers are charging $150 to $200 an hour. I would highly suggest getting a second opinion from Dwight's before you have any Plumbing work done and make sure that your plumber is actually licensed In the area that you live, especially Albany. I see so many plumbing trucks that are lettered with a company name yet have passenger car license plates instead of commercial license plates.

While I don't ever believe in negative reviews of local companies, their complete unprofessionalism as well as mistreatment has been something that should be publicly noted.

Harvey the owner was EXTREMELY helpful!! I called him today due to a boiler problem that started Friday, I told him the situation and I explained to him that I had a guy come out yesterday to look at it and the guy messed with some things and changed a part but then didn’t wanna come back today to finish the job after he told me he needed to come back Saturday due to parts. After already paying that guy for his time and the part I was a bit upset. But Harvey told me they weren’t excepting new customers due to how much work they have already and that I because I didn’t have an account with them than I’d have to wait to be seen. I understood that. I said okay thank you yes I understand I spoke to over 10 different companies and I’m having no luck but thank you I appreciate it! He then proceeded to ask me what was going on and we went through everything right on the phone and because of him we were able to diagnose the problem and the part will be in on Monday! Truly a honest business man and to give passion to others, and be a genuine human! he’s doesn’t look at just dollar signs,Highly recommend him and will 100% use him in the near future!!

I called and scheduled my furnace maintenance for 9/27/24. Andrew arrived on time and completed his work, I did mention that removing my filter was difficult at times (a narrow slot and hard to grab it -often requiring the use of needle nose plier) after he finished the work, he explained what he did, and that he had put tape tabs on my filter to make it easier to remove. That was so helpful and kind.

My AC just went out...someone was here in 30 mins, new capacitor, changed the filter and everything is working great. Cannot beat the price, quality of work and quick turn around.

Took them 3 weeks to get back to us with a QUOTE for Central AC and they took another 2 weeks to schedule the install. It wasn't until after they were almost done with the installation that we were told that we needed a wire run by a certified electrician. Now we'll be behind even more so while we rush to find an electrician. Oh, and while they were installing the AC, whoever the tech was used my brand new mop without asking and didn't even properly clean the floors! Will never recommend them or request for their services again. Negative Responsiveness, Professionalism

I don't know much about this business. I worked there for only two days, but because it was almost a 60 mile drive each way, it wasn't very practical for me. Also, I really hadn't worked in about a year and a half, so I had gotten very sore. As far as an HVAC company goes, I would recommend them.

Dwight is the best plumber i have ever met. He actually cares about his customers and he is the only person i trust to handle my plumbing. He did a great job for us plumbing out two apartments! He is the man, Call with confidence!
