Reasonable price Used Big City Plumbing recently to replace my boiler that "died." Mike worked to get me scheduled asap and install a new Navien boiler. Benny and Brendan came over and did the entire install including removing the old unit in 1 day! They did a great job, it was clear that Benny took great pride in his work both from a functional and aesthetic view (before and after pics below). Their pricing was competitive and in line with the quality of work and customer service. Would definitely recommend and use again, of course hope to not need their services, lol. Reasonable price Big City Plumbing bailed us out twice. The first time Benny and Gavin came over to fix our heating system in the middle of a cold spell. They diagnosed the problem, which was basically that the pipes were too narrow and needed more throughput. They replaced the pipes with wider ones. They recalibrated the machine. They got the work done quickly and efficiently while explaining clearly what the problem and solution were. The second time Benny came over after our pipes froze and we weren't getting any water into the system. He quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it and made sure all zones got heat. The pipes were unfrozen but water wasn't flowing through the system. We had been without heat for over a week. Big mistake on our part for not calling them sooner. The professionalism and honesty of the technicians and staff at Big City Plumbing are the best I've encountered. I highly recommend them for anyone who has heating problems. BIG CITY IS THE BEST. My building has been dealing with gas & heating issues for LITERAL years. When we finally sorted one step of the process, we learned about tons of issues across a number of boilers in the building. Big City came out and provided a clear diagnostic and estimate for each of the affected units. I was nervous about this being able to be fixed because of all the issues we'd been having but they were so kind and reassuring the whole way, which really made me feel like a solve was possible. And sure enough they did it! And my unit (and others in the building) are back up and running. They were so diligent and helpful getting everything restored, and were also such nice, wonderful, pleasant people. Thank you so much for all your kindness and help!!! I was looking to hire this. Company, I spoke to Diana on the phone, wanted to get specifics, was told the owner takes care of that, I asked for a call back from the owner and was refused. Edit Want to ad I was very courteous on the phone, the discourteous behavior was directed towards myself the customer. If someone asks to speak to the owner, a call back should have been given. You lost out on a lot of work in the future from myself and my referrals. Owner tries to misrepresent situation in reply and act like I was in the wrong wanting to communicate with him on some simple things before I hire them. Want to add I spoke to about 5 companies in total before hiring one and this one was the worst I had interacted with. Negative Professionalism

Thanks for the laugh When receiving a Free air conditioners from the HEAP program, unless we receive a purchase order from HEAP we don't discuss any installation procedures. Diane was following company policy, unless we receive a purchase order, we are not at liberty to discuss with the client. My recommendation is to call HEAP and have them change their policy. in the future, try to be a little courteous to women on the phone. I don't appreciate you speaking with my staff the way you did. Big City was the only one that was responsive and I was able to deal with the owner from day 1. He was very informative and helpful. I would like to recommend Big City Plumbing for anyone who is considering converting from Oil to Gas. When dealing with getting my oil conversion done, I was referred by National Grid to Big City Plumbing. My first encounter was with Diane from the office, she was friendly, promptand professional, all the time. She scheduled my appointments and assisted the entire way with the application, permits, and rebates. Diane is the bright star behind the scenes. I then met with Mike the Owner, who personally came to my house and all my neighbors on a Saturday!!! Mike was patient and professional, answering all my questions putting me at ease. Finally, I met with the technicians Benny and Shane. Both of these guys were excellent!!! They stopped to listen to me, and answered any questions I had, along the way. The entire job took 1.5 days and Mike checked in during the process. I would recommend Big City Plumbing and the entire team as they understand what customer service is really about. This company installed a whole house water filtration system for the previous owner of the home we now own. We called them to request maintenance-service on the system. The woman I spoke with took my information and said she would call back after checking their records. After no response I called them again two days later. She remembered me and asked me to hold for a moment. When she returned she told me that she checked with the plumber who said I should contact the the manufacturer as “they don’t do this sort of thing”. To be sure I understood I asked her to confirm they would not service the system they installed. She said that was correct. So while they were willing to install the system they are unwilling to provide service. Follow-up to owner’s response: their reply was disengenuous as I provided them with the name of the manufacturer. Big City Plumbing did NOT provide this information to me, did not return my original call, and now resorts to disparaging the ‘reviewer’ in their defense. Given the foregoing I feel their actions are all one need know about this company. Negative Responsiveness

We never worked for you we install the water filter eight years ago for the previous owner my recommendation is to take down the review cause it is a lie otherwise my attorney will sue you Diane was Nice enough to recommend going to the manufacture for replacement filters if this post is not remove my Attorney will contact you I also will contact Google stating that we never had any contact with you and we did never did any work for you. I had decided to go with another plumbing company but they could not proceed with the conversion due to health issues.
