Reasonable price We were lucky enough to find Ulster County Mechanical when we first purchased our home several years ago. They are an honest and professional company, which seems to be increasingly rare. They are always quick to resond when we reach out, are great at explaining any issues, and offer mutliple solutions to any problems we have had. They have very competitive rates, and I have never felt like I was trying to be upsold, which I greatly appreciate. Reasonable price | $100–200 My experience was so great! I was able to call and get service pretty immediately. Dustin came first thing in the morning because I called about a problem with my furnace short cycling. He explained everything that was going on in a way that made sense and allowed me to get the correct things fixed with the propane company. This issue with our furnace has been ongoing for a while. We went through some other furnace repair people with no luck. Dustin was finally the first one to get to the root of the problem quickly so there is finally a permanent fix happening!! It was seriously so simple too. We've spent years going back and forth between hvac repairmen & the propane company but finally Dustin's observations got the propane company to understand the problem as well and schedule the right fixes. I'm so grateful and I don't have to buy a new furnace like every other company was trying to get me to. I would definitely recommend his services based on this experience! 10/10 :) Services Heating system maintenance

I needed some mini-splits installed, so I called Dustin to see if I could get an estimate. He told me he could come by that Wednesday between 5PM and 6PM. Wednesday came and I called him around 4:50 to make sure he was coming because I was holding off on dinner. No answer so I left a voicemail. He never came and never bothered to call. Thankfully, I got an actual professional come give me an estimate. They sent me an email confirmation and showed up when they said they would. I hired them for the job, and will be getting my mini-splits in two weeks. That’s how it’s supposed to work.

I highly recommend Ulster County Mechanical (UCM). The quality of their work is great, their pricing competitive, and Dustin is a good communicator and easy to work with. I first learned about UCM when they were a sub-contractor for my bathroom renovation project. The project involved relocating all of the bathroom fixtures and rerouting some plumbing and HVAC lines for a bathroom above it. The project required attention to detail and precision, as it was a tight space. Dustin from UCM delivered. More recently I contracted with UCM to install 3 Mitsubishi mini-splits, after soliciting bids from them and 2 of their main competitors. Dustin’s work was again great. I asked him to run the lines for the mini-splits within the walls, because I didn’t want them running on the exterior of the house. He thoughtfully and carefully cut out the drywall so it was easy to restore. He also readily accommodated my request to ensure the installation was not only efficient, effective, but also aesthetically pleasing on the outside of the house. A few unrelated issues came up as we were scheduling the work (e.g., need for code-compliant water line for refrigerator; need to fix water and waste lines for washing machine; need to change out UV light and filter for house water) and he readily incorporated them into his schedule. Before I retired, I managed construction contractors for decades. UCM is in the ranks of the best!
