New Reasonable price **If I could give Omni Plumbing and John 10 stars, I would.** I first met John almost 10 years ago at Home Depot. We were both looking at Halloween decorations, and somehow we started talking. What started as a quick conversation turned into almost an hour of talking about our love of decorating for Halloween, and eventually our families, spouses, children, and what we each did for a living. That’s when I found out John was a plumber. I remember really enjoying that conversation, but what stood out to me even then was the way John talked to me. As a woman, I’ve had plenty of experiences with men in traditionally male-dominated fields—plumbing, electrical, automotive, etc.—where they feel the need to “mansplain” things to me. These are subjects I’m actually pretty well-versed in, and being talked down to is something that really bothers me. John never did that. He spoke to me as an equal. He listened to what I had to say, took my thoughts seriously, and never made me feel like I didn't know what I was talking about simply because I wasn't a professional. Over the years, I've used Omni Plumbing for quite a few things. John installed my mom’s hot water heater, and he has helped me with numerous plumbing and heating issues. One experience really stands out. Almost two years ago, my boiler failed during one of the coldest weeks in January—and it happened to be my birthday weekend. Anyone who has ever lost heat in the middle of winter knows how stressful that is. John initially told me he couldn't get to it until the following week. I completely understood. I knew he was busy and that I'm certainly not his only customer. But then, **he showed up on the weekend.** He gave up part of his weekend and came out to replace my boiler so that I wouldn't have to go through the weekend without heat. I will never forget that. Another time, my downstairs level wasn't getting heat. I had a feeling I knew what the problem was. John was at another customer's house, and after a short conversation he had me send him a picture of the part I thought was bad. He told me that if he finished early, he'd stop by; otherwise, he'd come the next day. It was getting late, and I honestly thought there was no way he was still coming. But he did. And because I had sent him the picture, he already had the replacement part with him. I was right about the problem, he replaced the part, and I had heat again. These experiences are why I continue to use Omni Plumbing and why I recommend John to anyone who tells me they need a plumber. **John is knowledgeable, dependable, honest, respectful, and genuinely cares about his customers.** He doesn't make you feel like just another job on his schedule. Whether you have a planned project or you're dealing with a plumbing or heating emergency, John is the person you want to call. I've trusted him with my home, and I've trusted him with my mom's home.
