Overpriced I called the shop asking to have a technician come out to give a quote for some work I'd like to have done. They wanted to charge me $175 just to have someone to give a quote. The fee does get applied to the bill if you choose to use them. No way am I paying someone to come to give the quote, at that point you basically have to go with them or be out the cash. No thanks, LI has plenty of other plumbers to choose from.

got the job done (I think), but WAY WAY overpriced. Takes your credit card before service even begins and then charges you based on their hourly rate only to surprise you at the end with a bill. Had a plumber tighten up some pipes on a roof. Not install anything or replace anything.. just tighten them. Really not that complicated, only to tell me that the final cost was well over $600 for labor. Should have been part of a service call, including 1 hr of labor. I'm 100% sure any other reputable and honest plumber would have charged well under $300 for the same effort. Ridiculous.

We have been using Maccarone for many years. But today they went above and beyond. We had a blocked up drain and were not able to use any of our bathroom showers or sinks as waste water would back up and flood our basement bathroom floor. I called them first thing this morning at 8:15 am. They were at my home about 1 hour later and snaked out the main waste line and other drains problem solved by 10:00 am.

John Maccarone and his team are wonderful resources for all things plumbing and HVAC. They recently a completed an in ground 1000 gallon Propane service install partnering with Paraco Gas. This new feed serves the Maccarone furnished and installed 24kw Kohler generator, new LP Boiler and water heater, HVAC controls, Fireplace and new Wolf LP range. Performed all the work quickly and professionally. Highly recommend them and Paraco.
