New Great price I honestly am beyond impressed. 3yr old hot water tank failed-Called a TV company who came and advised a part was under warranty, but the labor was not. Quoted over 1k. Could not send next available repair man but rather I needed to be out of hot water for 6 days as the quoted tech was booked up...read reedit reviews of Jon the plumber-called the owner actually answered spoke with me, gave me honest feedback, called me back a short time later after confirming he could get part locally-price was 1/3 less than tv company. Tech came next morning on time-tech was polite educated me on what he did and i have hot water. DO NOT HESITATE to call this plumber-they are HONEST. Reasonable price | $2,000+ It has become extremely rare to find a company in the service industry as reassuring and fair as Jon The Plumber. I've been on the unfortunate side of reading through Google Reviews and thinking I've found an honest, trustworthy company, only to question, 'Is this the same company that I read about online?' after they arrived to do the work. The choices aren't great: a plumbing company that charges double to pay for their television advertisements and catchy jingles or unproven solo plumbers with little information about their qualifications and reputability. Previously, I'd used both types of plumbers, and in their own way, I'd felt taken advantage of. Jon the Plumber is the middle ground between the jack-of-all-trades handymen and the behemoth companies with their vans wrapped in flashy blue and red paint. Justin from Jon the Plumber came out on a free estimate the day after disaster struck and our basement water heater leaked everywhere. I already knew a replacement was needed, but Justin discussed options, as well as immediate remedies that would get the water back on in the house for the time being. All work that was completed to 'bandage' the situation had been discounted from my estimate for a new water tank so I wasn't being penalized for the emergency service. Then, the following day, I received the full estimate breakdown from Jon, the owner, himself, who took 30 minutes on the phone to explain all questions I had regarding the potential install of a tankless water heater, since I had been interested in switching from a two tank setup. Jon had been receptive to a discounted price that I'd asked for since financially, money is very tight at the moment, and I went forward with a Navien tankless system. Speaking with Jon, the small business owner, directly about the install, I understood that he is building relationships with clients for the longterm, and not squeezing every last dollar out of them. When his team, that embodied diligence and thoroughness, arrived, they followed through on all of the expectations and promises made by Jon. The price was exactly as what was agreed upon, the worksite was left in pristine condition, and the final result was exactly as I had desired. Jon even called me the following day to assist me in getting the necessary information for a National Fuel rebate that only is to the homeowner's benefit, and to thank me for the review I had left regarding his team's install. The followup by Jon to check on my satisfaction with the installation and show his gratitude for my business is a sign of someone who truly understands the value of a symbiotic relationship between service and service provider. Jon and his team are all class acts and is one of the few service companies still out there that is both ethical and principled, and for those reasons, I will continue to sing the praises of Jon the Plumber and recommend their services. I urge anyone who is considering one of the large companies because of 'brand recognition,' to realize that those aren't names built from trust, but are propagated from paid commercials and deep marketing busgets. Jon the Plumber, on the other hand, is building their reputation client by client, one repair at a time, and even though you might not see their trucks out at every house in the neighborhood, it's because they're not around to sell you more problems, but to fix the ones you face now.
