We had a gas leak that another top plumbing company couldn't find even after 5 hours of searching. Dave from Hertel Plumbing came out and found it in 30 minutes. Highly recommend! I had all the galvanized steel pipes in my basement replaced with PEX and copper by Hertel Plumbing and I’m thrilled with the work. Both guys were very professional and were constantly working on swapping out the pipes and adding any new lines where needed. The job took two days and they made sure they could turn the water back on before they left the first night so I wasn’t without water. Another plumber tried telling me I had to get rid of all steel and copper pipes, and to replace every pipe I had, but the guys at Hertel plumbing were honest and only quoted the work that actually needed to be done. They’re on the top of my list if I ever need to get more plumbing work done in the future. Services Plumbing pipe repair

Reasonable price | $900–1,000 I had a gas leak that needed fixing before a tenant moved in. I called Hertel Hardware and Plumbing Friday afternoon they came over and fixed the problem late Friday night the gas was turned on by Saturday and the tenant was able to move in on Sunday according to plan. Very thankful for the service Hertel Hardware and Plumbing provided. Services Service not listed

Had Hertel Hardware and Plumbing come out to look at my girlfriends AC system. Her air conditioner stopped working, during the hottest few days that we've had so far this year.. Been using Hertel Hardware and Plumbing for over 30 years. Their quick response time, the quality of their work is unmatched.. Family owned businesses are the only way to go.. Reputation is what family business relies on, and it shows in the work ethic, and the professional people they hire.. Her AC unit was a simple fix, Victor, their service tech performed a couple of tests, and within minutes figured out that the batteries in the thermostat needed to be changed. Just like that it was running.. Think of what one of the big companies would of done in that situation??? They would of tried to upsell her. Hertel Hardware and Plumbing, Victor, Thank You

As I embarrassingly overlooked checking the batteries in my thermostat, Victor displayed the HONEST integrity of your company and never once tried to make this into a bigger issue to charge me for services not needed. As I apologized for my ignorance, Victor never once laughed or joked at my mistake (I did enough of that). Just one more reason to “shop local” and never underestimate family owned businesses.

In calculating the necessary BTUs required for an AC unit of my living room, I tried to explain that I have a foyer entrance to my living room and Angie would not listen to me. She told me that the foyer doesn't count as part of my living room. I tried to explain that it's not really my foyer because it isn't closed off of my living room. She kept cutting me off and I offered to send her pictures but she did not want me to. I feel that she was treating me disrespectfully because the heap program is supplying the AC unit and I am not considered a real customer to her.

Hi Genine, I'd like to start by saying we treat every client as a "real customer". Everyone should be treated equally no matter the circumstance. HEAP is very specific as to sizing of the units and their application. So each unit is sized to cool a single room only, as they are meant to create a cooling zone for clients to be able to escape to in times of high heat. The pics you provided show what looks like a closed foyer door which would not be considered as part of the room sizing. I'm sorry you felt the need to review us based on a phone conversation before having any actual service done as it looks like you are still in our schedule and still happy enough with us to have the work done. We called at the end of the day with a plumbing emergency. They had two employees to our home within the hour. They were very knowledgeable, repaired the issue, cleaned up everything and were gone within an hour. Very thankful for their professional service!

Used Hertel Hardware and Plumbing many times. They put it a water pump backup for my sump and most recently fixed and replaced the valve that was leaking on the hot water tank. The service is always 5 stars. The plumbers are always professional. They even took off their boots before entering the house. The most recent visit the plumber talked me through every step of the process. I couldn't be more impressed and will continue to use Hertel for my plumbing needs.

If you're looking for that personal touch Hertel Hardware and Plumbing is your answer. I had John come out to give me an estimate for a new HVAC System. I was very impressed by his knowledge and his presentation of the products offered. Furthermore, he took the time to go and look at my current layout, both inside and outside the house and evaluated the square footage for the proper system. He answered all of my questions and did not rush his presentation. The main difference I noticed from the other companies that I had estimates from was the fact that John offered me a variety of options and explained current rebates and tax incentives by product. The call team at the office was also great in setting up the appointment and making the customer feel welcomed. Yeah you can't go wrong when you are exploring options you call Hertel Hardware and get their opinion on your job.
