I am writing to report an extremely disappointing customer service experience I had at your store today. I came in to purchase a replacement hose for my semi-professional Kohler sink and brought both the physical part and the specific part number with me. Upon entering, I was not greeted. When I approached the counter, the associate, Phil, ignored me for some time while looking at his computer. When he finally acknowledged me, his attitude was dismissive and rude. Despite telling me he had been a plumber his entire life, he failed to recognize the part. Even after I provided the exact part number, he spent over 15 minutes looking at his computer only to tell me he couldn't find it. He then directed me to the showroom to figure out what the piece was, completely disregarding the information and physical part I had provided. Furthermore, the overall environment in the store was unacceptable. There were multiple customers waiting, and a second associate working at a back computer completely ignored everyone. When he finally assisted a customer, he was visibly rude to them as well. As a result of this horrendous service, I walked out of the store. I have already located the part online at ferguson.com—which your associate claimed he could not find—and I will be taking my business elsewhere. I hope you will address this lack of professionalism with your staff.
