New Overpriced | $600–800 Do not use this company! We called them on a Saturday for a clog in our line. The plumber was rude and arrogant and quoted a price of 2200.00 without even looking at everything. He finally looked at what we had ruled out, spent less than 10 minutes here and charged 750.00. The problem reappeared a few days later. I called to speak to a manager 2 times with no return call. The plumber was clearly taking advantage of the situation by telling us our pipe had to be replaced for 8500.00 because they “no longer use these pipes in new construction”. Clearly this is not new construction but he never even fixed the problem. I wish I had read the reviews before I called them. I learned my lesson the hard way. Services Drain cleaning

My dad had this company come to replace the workings in 2 toilets. They had to go out to the truck to call their boss to find out how much to charge. Several minutes later they came back in and gave a price of $450 for each toilet, plus a $125 service call fee. When my dad balked, the 2 guys were very apologetic and brought it down to $350 each. Having done A LOT of construction work himself, my dad knew how outrageous the charge was and sent them on their way, minus the $125 service charge!😡

Made a next day appointment and when they didn't show up we called. They stated they didn't have a record of us making an appointment. We are having stuff break and we have active leaks after City water was just installed. They told us there was nothing they can do about The obscenely high water pressure, that they could only control the hot water.

I paid a $135.93 service fee for them to inspect a simple, 1-hour gas line connection where I had already provided all the materials.Once inside, the technician verbally quoted an astronomical, predatory price of $2,600.00—nearly 10 times the market average for this minor task. When I asked for this estimate in writing, the technician flatly refused to provide a written quote, work order, or itemized breakdown.They use their service fee as a high-pressure "bait-and-switch" tactic to get into your home, demand a predatory rate, and actively withhold the written documentation consumers are entitled to. Overpriced | $2,000+ had an estimate done for a leak. Plumber looked me dead in the face and said he could hear the leak inside the wall but it would be $2800 to open it up. Charged me $135 for the estimate. Turned out to be a leaky toilet on the other side of a separate room. The plumbing inside the wall was perfectly fine. This is the second time that John (one of the plumbers) has rushed right to us on a SUNDAY no less. He is wonderful, fixed the problem immediately and was upfront right at the start with how much it would cost and what my options were. I used to use a different plumber but sometimes it would stretch into days before they would show up. This time, and the time before, I have used this company and they were here the same day within a matter of a couple of hours and I live in a very rural area. I highly recommend this company and especially John! Thank you for taking care of my emergency quickly and efficiently. I hope I don't have to use a plumber again in the near future but being a homeowner it is inevitable that I will and there is only one company I trust and will always turn to!

Overpriced | $200–300 Absolutely do not use Central Plumbing and Drains under any circumstances. We had them out today to cut out and replace a 10 inch section of copper pipe in the basement. For what would be a 45 minute job I was quoted a price of $950 plus their $195 call out fee. I absolutely am not paying $1300/hour for a plumber. No wonder they said they don’t offer an itemized receipt when asked but instead claim they do “flat rate billing.” I paid their $200 call out fee and I have another licensed plumber coming tomorrow who will be doing the same job for $250. My elderly mother contacted Central Plumbing and Drains for her sump pump that seemed to be running more than it should be. There was no mention that the service fee would be $195 (plus tax) to just look at it when she contacted them. This was only advised after they showed up and took a look. The person was there for 5 minutes and quoted $1500 for a new sump and advised there would still be an additional $195 service fee if she went that route. After mentioning how much that seemed, he said after speaking with his boss that he could get it down to $1200 (plus the service fee). She called a different place after this and they came free of charge to take a look and quoted $595 for installation and the service fee combined. I feel as if Central Plumbing and Drains took advantage of her and I would absolutely not recommend their services to anyone else.

Overpriced | $500–600 Terrible experience. I had a clogged sink and the amount I paid was excessive. The only reason I agreed was that it's a holiday weekend and I didn't want to start calling around. To make matters worse, the invoice I was emailed was less than what I paid. While it's a negligible amount, it added to the fact that I feel taken advantage of by this company. They have my money, but I will never use their services again. I had an emergency plumbing issue at my restaurant and this company was a complete nightmare to deal with. First, they couldn’t even give me a clear arrival time. The technician showed up six hours later, looking completely unprofessional — literally in pajamas. After barely spending 10 minutes looking at the problem, they still charged me $225 just for the visit, which I paid. Then they gave me an outrageous quote of $21,000 for the job. It felt like a total rip-off. I ended up finding another plumber the very next day who completed the same work for just $3,000. Unreliable, unprofessional, and wildly overpriced. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

$1–100 Just need a dishwasher installed and “kitchen sink Tail piece”( pipe). $750 for dishwasher installation and $650 for kitchen sink Tail piece ( pipe). Oh yeah- $95 plus tax for coming. Best Buy was only gonna charge me $ 159.99 installment fee for dishwasher and $50 to take it away. Central plumbing and drains said ,”we are license plumbers and professional -Best Buy contractors are not”. Then Central plumbing Guy said , “I’ll take a $100 off”. I said, “ No thank you and good bye”.

Overpriced | $1,000+ Had burst water pipes to the tub and shower at my friend's house, he was in the hospital, so I was the one to meet the guy there. The pipes were pvc. The pieces to be replaced were maybe 6 feet total with connectors, and maybe an hour labor time. He called the boss/owner and came back with a cost to fix of $1500. Plus had to pay for the estimate fee $125. Plus tax and $5. Credit card fee. Outrageous! Highway Robbery in my opinion! The repair guy was very nice though! Would not recommend this company at all!
