While other contractors recommended full replacement of my 20 year old central AC system. Eric from Christiansen plumbing said it was working fine and if maintained, could last a few more years. He acknowledged it would eventually need replacement and he could benefit from replacing the system but said there was no rush. That's honesty! Services A/C system maintenance

Left me hanging with a broken A/C after coming for a service visit and saying they were going to source the part needed to fix it. I followed up 5 times (via phone and email) and was told they will get back to me and they don’t, or they ignore the message altogether. Never leave a bad review but this was an unfortunate experience for something critical. Hope it helps someone! Updating to share that I have called several times (again today even to clarify which my account is in response to you) and yes it’s your company I’m referring to. All the best. Hi! I wanna thank everyone there at Christensen’s plumbing. I called out of the blue after finding you online and talked to Carmen. She is awesome. I told her I grew up in Huntington and cold Spring Harbor, but I lived in Colorado for many years. We traded some good stories about concerts at Red Rocks in Denver. I tried to install a nest thermostat in my sister’s house in Huntington Bay while I was visiting as I have installed numerous of the thermostats before. This one however, gave me fits because there were so many crazy wires coming from the air handler. It was like a rats nest of wires of all different colors and no rhyme or reason. Carmen was able to have someone come out the same day that I called and I believe there were two technicians who fixed and completed the installation. Apparently I needed a relay that wasn’t there. Thank you so much for taking care of it and for being a great family run company to work with. I’m sure my sister or I will call you again for any kind of service or installation that she needs. Our central AC stopped working. The office was closed but I called their emergency number. My call was returned immediately. The very nice & pleasant service tech guy was here within an hour and had the AC up & running in no time. He checked the main unit outside & all the vents inside. I’m only sorry we can’t remember his name. This was incredible service! Thank you Christensens Plumbing.

My elderly mother and her church have all had good experiences with Christensen's. I have not. We called them to arrange an estimate and were given a 5 hour time window, so I went to her house to meet them for that. They never showed up, nor did they call to tell us they'd been delayed or couldn't make it. I called the next day and they acted like it was no big deal and tried to reschedule. I said no and we used another plumber. I'm not going to plan my day around a contractor who doesn't show up. She just called them again last week for an emergency with her toilet and we still haven't heard back from them. I hear people speaking favorably about them but I haven't witnessed anything at all professional about them.

Got an estimate for a new hot water heater in the morning and by the afternoon it was installed … Christensen’s Plumbing is very professional , communicated very well with us from start to finish. I live in Huntington NY. Today had a hot water heater go on me and I called Christiansen Plumbing and they were at the house within an hour and changed out our heater. They were honest, quick, efficient, and very affordable. They cleaned everything up after the job and stayed to make sure everything worked. I only use them and always satisfied and never let down. The owner Eric gave us great options and was extremely helpful. They handle all of our HVAC and plumbing needs.

I am sharing this on behalf of a costumer with a picture to follow. This customer has been a customer since 1960. Arthur Christensen financed a new boiler and new baseboard around the whole house for this family man on a handshake. Like a gentlemen this costumer paid on time and often times reminded Mr Christensen that a payment was due when dropping that months payment off. We had the pleasure of replaced that boiler with a new updated system!
