$400–600 I used B&R in the past, but their recent handling of a simple service call revealed a company that puts technician ego and pride ahead of basic competence and customer care. I called them to diagnose a chattering Argo switching relay box during AC cycles, expecting basic multimeter testing on the 24V transformer and control circuit. Instead of taking actual readings, the technician and supervisor invented a baseless theory that my Sensi smart thermostat was calling for heat and AC simultaneously. They attempted to charge a $249 service fee plus an unnecessary $180 thermostat replacement. Their theory defied basic physics and logic. Firmware lockouts prevent dual calls, the heating circulator pump never fired up, and baseboards stayed completely cold. When I questioned this misdiagnosis, the technician got defensive and weaponized past invoices, despite every prior bill being paid in full. On two prior occasions their own technicians did not have exact change for cash payments, so I personally went out of my way to drop off the remaining few dollars at their office the very next day, and on the third hire I paid exact change. Bringing that up as an issue when challenged on a faulty diagnostic was completely out of line. He then insulted me on my own property. To make matters worse, they actually expected me to pay half a service call fee simply because they provided an answer, as if walking through the door and guessing gives them the right to demand money for a completely incorrect diagnosis done with zero multimeter readings. The real fix required zero new parts. A plug in relay cube was simply loose in its socket. Once firmly reseated, the chatter vanished completely and the system has run silently under heavy load ever since. I laid out the physical evidence, timeline, and unprofessional conduct in a professional email to their office. The receptionist assured me the owner, Bill, was away and would contact me directly upon his return. Over a week has passed with zero effort, zero follow up, and complete silence from ownership. A business that puts fragile egos above accountability, demands money for bogus guesses, pushes unneeded parts, and hides from legitimate complaints does not put customers first. They will not be getting my business ever again, and I will be sharing this experience across every platform to make sure other homeowners know how they operate.

First time using B&R...and it won't be my last! They came when they said they would, did not build in a service call charge, which does nothing but unnecessarily jack up prices, and cleared out the clog in my jetted tub in less than an hour. Chris, the lead tech, took the time to talk to me about my pipes and answered all questions thoroughly. Nothing rushed. I won't think twice about using them for any plumbing needs. I think they are rare among plumbing outfits.

My house is a B&R house effective today. After one of the coldest weekends in decades, Chris and his boss solved a difficult frozen pipe issue in my main bath expertly and at a more than fair price. I will be using B&R exclusively for both plumbing and heating from now on.

We had a leaky toilet that ended up being a bigger job than expected. The toilet wasn't properly installed from a previous contractor. Piping had to be cut and reworked. There was limited space for the men to work which made the job more difficult. B&R kept us informed with every challenge they encountered and did an excellent job solving them. I would definitely use them again.

with an old house and an old pedestal sink its difficult to find parts to repair...a few weeks ago I walked in with the faucet and the seats and washers etc...James went through the boxes and found matches for everything I needed and the sink is the best its been in years...highly recommend..

Forget about Home Depot and Lowe's. When you need something, go to a plumbing supply store like B&R plumbing and heating supply. I had James help me today with some washers for an outdoor water spigot he found exactly what I needed. These guys are well knowledgeable. Thanks again, James

We recently had quite a bit of work done at our house by B&R Plumbing and we couldn't be happier with the service. Due to various leaks, we had a new water heater installed as well as the main hot water line rerouted through the attic since we're on a slab. The gentlemen that they sent were true professionals. I called Billy at B&R on Thursday night, our water heater was leaking and not working, Billy had Jared and Chris at my house the next morning to replace my water heater, they were fast and neat, they did an excellent job. The service was excellent from the Owner as well as the workers I couldn’t have asked for a better job.
