Reasonable price We have dealt with a lot of plumbers and contractors while renovating a Queens row home and ATG has corrected a lot of their work. They are actually Navien experts. They have gone out of their way, during two plumbing emergencies, to be on site same day or next day to assess our problem and have been excellent at communicating and efficient to ensure our problem is actually resolved. You might find a cheaper quote but I have wasted a lot of money on people who actually don't know what they are doing. Get your money's worth, and help me justify my learning expenses, by hiring ATG the first time. Now that they've saved our butts and sacrificed time with their own families during a blizzard and holiday they will always be our first call for all plumbing work. I am beyond pleased with the great work that Carmelo and Vasilis did to repair and elevate my bathroom. In less than 2 hours, they addressed 3 plumbing issues I was having: a toilet that wasn't working properly, a slow draining sink, and a shower with limited hot water. All of these problems are now fully fixed. Carmelo and Vasilis were also extremely professional. They were very courteous and considerate as I was working from home while they were completing the repairs. It was raining when they arrived, and they put a sheet over my apartment floor as to not tread dirt into the apartment. I called ATG to fix my boiler. The owner Andres gave me an estimate that it would be a $250 diagnostic inspection. After the inspection, he said the issue was with the motherboard and changed it. It didn't fix the problem work. Next, he said it was the screen and changed it. Then he said it's another unnamed? part. He said he would identify it by Monday (2 days later) but he never got back to me. Finally, on Wednesday (4 days later), I reached out to asked for an update. Still no update on Saturday. It has been 1 week, I have paid $616 to repair nothing, and I still haven't heard any update.

Never USE ATG Mechanical Service. Owner of the company Andrea Goustas remember that guy. This guy is a great lair. He worked on my boilar and we request the receipt that we paid him, so I can claim refund from NAVIEN warrenty. This guy said he will give me later and never pickup the phone. Called 100 of times. My thinking He overcharged me for the service that's why he is scared to provide me the receipt. Not recommended anybody whoever works for him. Not recommended. Also filed a consumer complaints at nyc complaint borad.

They failed on properly bringing our boiler up to proper registration. The boiler installed didn't have proper rating information on it's label. Phone call after phone call with no results. Finally had to have someone else finish the job.

Wouldn't recommend. Had given them 2 projects my dad's and cousins. New installs, Andreas seamed very professional when quoting us and that's why we went with them. They said they warranty everything they do and we decided to go with them. We went through the space that they have for install as we were doing a new basement and wanted to make sure it was kept to where we needit it. Also we were brought nest thermostats and wanted to use them. Andreas explained how he preferred Ecobee if we were going that route. So we exchanged the nest thermostats for the Ecobee .They installed the Navien boiler with Andreas and his guys doing the installation. It took them the day which wasn't bad and seemed great. Andreas didn't install the thermostat and loaned us a thermostat (old school one. So he could come back and install the Ecobee because he didn't have enough time. He was going to comeback and finish the thermostats. The night got chilly and the new Navien was working but around midnight it shut off the heat with an era code. My Parents found t strange. When we called Andreas he was heading to Italy for a trade show, according to him. We restarted the system and got the heat to start working . Then it stopped again. My parents are older and retired with little source of income and they had to deal with this problem. I called Andreas and asked him if he can send one of his guys to fix it and he said it would have to be him him when he comes back. He asked me to read him back the codes and then asked me to get a chair and see if I can reach the exhaust pipe and see if I could move it up. I did and you can hear the water running back to the boiler. It sounded like it shouldn't have been there. He said just lift it up and down Everytime the boiler shuts down. It's water getting stuck in the exhaust. Which right there I knew the install was incorrect. Also there was a water lign which was supposed to be high in the ceiling that they left low that he had to come back and redo. I will cut the review short if not this thing will be very long on all the things that went wrong on the install. Put it this way we called for service from him and never heard back. I troy was professional as car salesman that wants to sell you a new car. The follow up and service is lackluster and is not what they sell you. I pulled my cousins project away from him and gave it to someone else. My feedback is buyer be warned my parents are still hurt from this investment gone wrong.

I represent landlord - Seawest, LLC (“SEAWEST”) - and would like to direct this message to all folks who oversee New York City properties with 3+ units. SEAWEST runs a 3-unit property at the water front location in Far Rockaway, NY area. SEAWEST came across ATG Mechanical Corp. (“ATG”) in 2019. Back then - during pre-ATG days - the property was flooded due to a faulty water heater, which required removal and replacement. ATG came forward with an innovative proposal that would save space and money for small-to-medium home owners: replacement of traditional water heater / boiler technologies with new instant combi-unit for the property, in our case Navien NFC-200. Back then, the proposal was a gamble, because it required moving away from traditional time-tested heating supply toward unfamiliar world of instant combi-boiler. One thing that helped was the “Navient promise,” placing ATG as their “trusted” installer. ATG was, and continues to remain in the status “Navien Service Specialist,” which is the “trusted” installer mark by the combi-unit manufacturer Navien. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the move from traditional heating source to an innovative NFC-200 required a "leap of faith," because new technology requires timely service and maintenance, and therefore dependence on the original installer, here ATG. Accordingly, if your plumbing company fails you as a service provider, then you as a landlord will dive into world of horribles with NYC Department of Housing and Preservation Development and/or Department of Buildings, because all it takes is one 311 call from your tenant, and you as a landlord will be subject to various penalties/fees for code failures. It is 2024 now, and for almost 5 years, ATG has proven itself as a reliable plumbing company for SEAWEST, and a strong “Navien Service Specialist” supporter. Since 2019, SEAWEST’s NFC-200 experienced a number of issues including circulation pump-replacements, mixing-valve issues, and even an expansion tank blow-out as a result of the latest NYC earthquake. Over the years, AGT consistently came forward as a reliable company, which was ready to work through any issues surrounding plumbing challenges. Bottom line: if you are looking for a reliable licensed plumbing professional, who does not do “side gigs,” (although it might :) ) but is there to do a quality job and back it up with its name and license in New York City, go to ATG.
