Reasonable price Great service! They were on time, fixed the problem and were reasonable. (I had several quotes) - The job they had was a pretty decent size repair of a waste pipe that was in a tough spot in my house. Mike, the owner communicated with me at each step of the job and Matt, the main plumber who did the heavy duty work was a professional technician. He examined the problem and thought about the options as to how to best fix the problem. The job was completed in a reasonable amount of time with perfection. A++++ work. Will definitely be contacting them again if I have another plumbing issue. Don’t hesitate to call these guys- they’ll get the job done, quickly and correctly! Huge pothole and crack in front of store. Parking lot full of holes. No action over 6 months to flatten out holes. How about you repair your parking lot before offering any type of repair?

I had a wondering experience with Tumminello Plumbing. Just days after moving into my new house I discovered my hot water heater, which was only two years old, was leaking. I called Tumminello because they installed the tank and they dispatched someone immediately—within 20 minutes. John was nice, professional, and helpful. He told me that unfortunately the hot water heater needed to be replaced and made sure I understood what needed to be done so it would be covered under warranty. The next day John and Mike returned to install the new hot water heater. They completed the job quicker than estimated, were very neat, and incredibly kind. As a new homeowner, it’s scary when a big fixture needs repair or replacement, but Tumminello put my mind at ease and made the process as seamless as possible. If I ever have plumbing needs again (and I’m sure I will) I will absolutely call them again! Services Water heater installation

Great price Had Tumminello Plumbing &Heating install a new boiler and it was a great experience. When Mike came to our house to give us an estimate he made us feel so comfortable. He took a lot of time with us explaining what needed to be done and assured us we were going to love the work. He wasn’t wrong, as Matt and Vince who came to do the job were amazing. Matt is the person you want to install your boiler as he has so much knowledge and experience with boilers and his work is magnificent. I have a very tight space in where my boiler is which is under the stairs and both Matt and Vince tackled the job like pros. The installation was clean, neat, and precise. I would highly recommend Tumminello for all your plumbing needs. Mike really cares about his customers and was very fair with the price. Services Service not listed

Mike came in with his team—Matt, Billy, Vincent, and a few others—and turned what felt impossible into a reality for me. For years, I had a large sewage pipe running through my basement. It hung low and was such an eyesore that I constantly hit my head on it. It made the space feel unusable, and I never even considered finishing the basement because of it. But with the kids growing and needing more room to play, I finally gave in and decided to make use of the space, even though I knew the pipes would be a huge obstacle. Initially, I had another plumber lined up, but he got tied up with other work. The project manager then said, “I have a guy who might be able to help.” He called Mike—and within 10 minutes, Mike showed up, dropping everything to take a look at the project. As soon as I started talking to him, I felt hopeful. He didn’t just talk solutions—he painted a vision that I didn’t even think was possible. And then—he and his team delivered. The transformation they made in my basement is incredible. Everything works perfectly now. The space is clean, functional, and best of all, safe for my kids to play in. But it wasn’t just the work—they genuinely cared. They listened to my concerns, they worked with me, and they treated my home with so much respect. Their work ethic was on another level—nonstop, through lunch, meticulous, and clean. They cleaned up after themselves every step of the way. I’ve seen some negative reviews about this company, and I honestly don’t understand where that’s coming from. I have two days of Ring camera footage that shows just how hard they worked and how professionally they handled everything. The results speak for themselves—everything is leveled, neat, and perfect. I’m honestly speechless. Mike, thank you—from the bottom of my heart—for making this dream a reality. Now I have a beautiful, safe space for my kids, and I won’t have to worry about getting injured every time I go down there. You and your team were a blessing, and I’ll absolutely be using you for any and all plumbing needs in the future. Thank you again. Below I added some pictures and a 5 part video of the amazing work they did!! Great team… amazing personalities! Very understanding!!

Awful experience. They upsold us on a heating system that has literally never worked since installed in 2022. Every time the heat is off for a few weeks, it never works when you turn it back on and I have to call a plumber (definitely not Tuminello). There were also other issues that arose because of how they installed in. I did have them come one time to fix it, and they charged me $800 and the problem wasn’t fixed. I called a friend who was able to fix it for $150. Awful experience, do not recommend this company. Owner is rude. May the odds be forever in your favor if you do use them.

They replaced a Water heater for me. Did a great job and communicated when they would arrive as they were running late. Install was clean and neat.

What a scam! I would not recommend Tumminello. A man came today to my house to replace a ball rod for my pop up drain in my bathroom sink. The part at Home Depot costs $8.99. He claimed he had to replace the entire sink assembly cause they can’t just replace the ball rod. He wanted $500 then came down to $425. We kept asking why he had to replace everything and he said that’s the way they do things. Were they trying to take advantage of an elderly couple? We refused the repair. So me as a 74 year old woman saw how he removed the ball rod and went to Home Depot and bought the part for $8.99 and replaced it myself in about 5 minutes. My husband who is 80 years old even put a new washer into the ball rod nut for me. Please don’t call them. You will regret it.

Mike and his team are some of the most talented plumbing and heating experts on the island. After moving into our new house 2 years ago (north shore of LI), we recognized we had a very extensive and complicated boiler room (not to mention quite a lot of bathrooms) that was giving us some problems. We had consulted with a few plumbing companies in the area, including some of the bigger ones, and none were really able to grasp the complications of our boiler system. We finally contacted Mike and Matt, and they were able to coherently explain what was going on and what all of the issues were. When we eventually ran into bigger problems with our wall boilers (a result of the prior owners not taking any care of them for a decade), Tumminello was our choice to revamp the entire boiler room with brand new equipment. They are truly experts at their craft (a lot of the technical aspects go over my head). Mike, Matt and their guys did such a great job and we're super happy with out it turned out. They always showed up on time and didn't leave until the job was done. Our boiler room is now much more efficient and organized and, most importantly, in working order (shoutout to Matt in particular for being a rockstar - he could be a rocket scientist for NASA; he also took the care to make sure everything looked perfect and was super organized). We've also used Tumminello for non-boiler-related issues (e.g., sink installation, leaks, clogs, etc.) and they've always responded promptly (and fairly). Truly a one-stop shop for all things plumbing and heating. Do not hesitate to use Tumminello. Very, very highly recommended!

We've used Tumminello Plumbing & Heating twice in the past year. The owner, Mike, stands behind his work. His crew did an outstanding job and left my bathroom spotless both during and upon completion of the work. Twenty minutes after the job was finished, we received a phone call from the owner asking if we were satisfied. I would highly recommend using this company for any plumbing need.

When we moved to our house, it had old radiant heating leaking in the concrete so we needed a new system. we interviewed several local companies and chose to go with Tuminello plumbing because the owner himself (Mike) was prompt, took his time evaluating our house, and he gained our trust. Tuminello converted us to gas, abandoned our radiant heat and installed a Navien, and ran baseboard throughout our entire house. They did a wonderful time and anytime something came up the owner was fair and prompt in handling and stood by his work. Since then Tuminello is our “go-to” for everything plumbing. We recently had them change our shower body upstairs. Thanks for a job well done and keeping our water and air warm! We are grateful for a job well done and won’t hesitate to Reccomend to friends and family which we have already done several times.

Couldn't recommend this company enough. We had a collapsed pipe in our home and the Tumminello team helped us through it from start to finish. Even worked with us on costs and coordinating with insurance. Highly recommend for any plumbing needs.
