Great price My hot water heater broke, and Rotondo came out ASAP. They replaced the entire unit, discovered a carbon monoxide leak in the process, and fixed that too, all within about an hour. Rotundo installed water heater after few years it started leaking (thy charge $700 and then again after 2 months it leaks again we call them and they charge $500. Still same problem leaking I called them and they said we canot do anything u call another company. $1,000+ The organization I work for has been a long standing customer for many years. It is for that reason I called them when faced with frozen pipes earlier this week. However the individuals sent to address my concerns were not the regular plumbers that are usually sent. After hours of wasting time and resources, I was told, I would have to wait for my pipes to thaw. After what was a horrible experience, we followed up with the plumber they usually send. He came and like a knight in shining armor addressed all our concerns. I leave this bad review not for the services rendered by my normal plumber but for the owner who felt it appropriate to charge $7K and was completely unwavering when I explained how the initial team dispatched had done nothing but try to use a space heater to thaw the pipes. Providing a break on the invoice would have shown responsibility for the workers that did nothing! It would have also reaffirmed the working relationship. Obviously the invoice will be paid but our organization will definitely call someone else, anyone else next time something occurs. Stay clear of Rotundo unless you like over paying for services.

Our team worked diligently under emergency conditions to assess the situation, verify the frozen above-ground piping as needed, and bring in the appropriate thawing equipment when available despite limited access points on the property. We prioritized getting you back up and running quickly while juggling multiple urgent calls across the area. Regarding the billing, the time spent was necessary for proper diagnosis and execution, and we made every effort to minimize charges while coordinating additional support (like involving the town for the water meter and pit pump-out) to help resolve the full issue efficiently. As for your wasted hours comment, my first technician was shown (by the original knowing tech that you speak of to get a lay of the land and not waste time) and his job was to verify if the above ground piping was or wasn't frozen. Keeping in mind you are not our only customer and we are in a state of emergency with these temperatures, I did everything in my power to get the correct thawing machines on piping in the little to no access spots your property has. The hours you call "wasted" are minimally billed in comparison to the project total. As is see it, your staff was incapable of preforming preventative maintence and this entire job could all be avoided if you had used common sense prior to deep freeze. The project monetarily worked in your favor because we needed to use OUR contacts and resources to involve the town for a new water meter and pump out a pit full of water that had been frozen in the start of the next business day. In the future, please have a discussion prior to slandering our reliable and trusted services. Good luck to the next plumber.

David is both a professional and absolute gentleman to work with. I contacted Rotundo Plumbing on Thanksgiving morning for a clogged kitchen drain. I was told they were available but would be$400 per hour. The plumber was in my home for 22 minutes, snaked the pipe 35 feet and cleared the drain. The bill was $673.00. I reached out to the owner, David Rotundo, to inquire about the charge and if he felt that was a fair price. He responded saying they usually charge a two hour minimum- $800++. He felt he saved me money. Will not ever use this company again.

Sloane, I had to take some time to digest this bad review in order to provide a proper response considering this was an emergency call on a holiday. My technician had to leave his family, to drive TO you (all time associated with your project is billable), deal with a clogged kitchen sink that you had put chemical in prior to our arrival, and then charge the discussed rate that you were fully aware of. It takes longer then 22 minutes to even set up and break down a job plus fight a stoppage that you were well aware of prior to the holiday. Myself and my team do not appreciate the slander of our generous and transparent services simply because you don't want to pay for it after the fact.

Decided to replace one of the toilets in the house and contacted Rotundo Plumbing and asked if they still purchase, deliver and install toilets. I called and spoke to Ashley, who was very professional and helpful, and she made the necessary arrangements. The appointment was made and I was very happy that the plumber arrived early. He was professional and did a great job. I am a big fan of Rotundo Plumbing!

There was an issue with a drain pipe coming down from the second floor of my house- a couple pipe joints failed where they came together. Gilbert was fantastic, talented, smart and funny. My house is old so it is very difficult to manage pipe temperatures (with the incredibly old insulation) , and he immediately knew when things started to go wrong. If I had called any other company, my house would be destroyed right now. I trust them with my life.

If you are looking for a plumbing company, you should look no further and hire this company. Project was handled effectively, efficiently and quickly. Company came quickly to assess job and began work quickly. Plan of doing work showed company's experience and creativity in understanding how to do project. Very kind and personable workers. Billing was honest and fair as final bill was below estimate. Rotundo has qualifications many plumbing companies do not have including Operator Qualification for covered tasks with Con Edison. We found our basement flooded after a big rain and we didn't understand why the sump pump did not work. I called Rotundo for the first time and David walked us through the steps to find out what went wrong. Turned out to be a GFCI outlet attached to the pump. It needed to be connected to an ordinary outlet. He was so kind and patient and the pump worked. His caring and honesty are a rare find. Positive Responsiveness
