When we found mold in our home resulting from a roof leak, I called BEST after finding the company on a Google search. The owner, Dwayne Illsley was at my home to inspect and document the leaks, water damage, and mold shortly after my call, despite his very busy schedule. He explained the extent of the problem and how he could remediate it in an informative, complete way that day after his inspection. He displays great communication skills, care, and concern. During the remediation, Dwayne’s work ethic became apparent as we saw his team here working early every day. When we would meet his crew around the house, they were friendly and communicative with us about how the remediation process was going and what they were finding. We knew that our home was being repaired in a professional, thorough way with attention to detail and that the quality of Dwayne’s work would be excellent. Dwayne was very responsive to our questions and concerns and to the questions of our insurance adjuster throughout the process. He was knowledgeable in all aspects of the remediation. He thoroughly documented the damage as he worked so that our insurance company would have the pictures and answers that they needed to handle our claim. Dwayne and his team are trustworthy, courteous, hard working, friendly, and professional. The remediation went smoothly. Our home is now clean and the work was done quickly and as promised. When Dwayne was finished, his work passed our assessor’s clearance the first time and our assessor noted that Dwayne’s team had gone above and beyond his requirements during the remediation. If we ever thought there was a problem again, we would call Dwayne right away. He took care of a problem that we could not have solved by ourselves. I worked Directly with Dwayne from an Out of state location. Conducting all business via email and phone conversations. I had Storm damage in a Workshop on my property in the Catksills which over a time period resulted in Black Mold. Its a vacation property which is why it had the chance to get out of hand in my absence. Dwayne was Fair on the price and very considerate of the value of the dwelling and to preserve it for years to come. His team boxed and moved all my possessions to secure location as to not be exposed to the Mold to also get down to the problem. The Infected area was large enough that Drywall, insulation, ceiling panels, rotting wood beams infected with carpenter ants all had to be removed/replaced. Dwayne constantly sent me pictures so I could stay on point with the remediation and work to and being completed. Extra costs incurred due to the situation but he was fair with pricing with extra work to be completed. He followed all necessary regulations and inspection laws of NY by bringing in a 3rd party for testing which resulted in full 100% remediation and secured a future for my Dwelling which has sentimental value. I highly recommend B.E.S.T and please ask for Dwayne.
